ThomasRed : A Presidential meeting...
Dear fellow citizens of the United Netherlands,
Last week, our Congress, which is composed from the congressmembers you have elected and so which represent the people of the United Netherlands, have choose to reject the new Charter of PEACE GC. Like expected, as our nation have a strong and powerful link with PEACE GC, this debate have passionate many citizens.
And a lot of them have still many differents questions to ask, and they need answers.
Some try to give their own answers, and i canno't blame that. But some of these answers are not good, and i don't want to enter in a political fight as we need to be more united than ever.
I ask all citizens with the Belgian citizenship to keep it ! More information will be provided in time by the High commissionner in charge of Belgian affairs, DanielB1989.
What our country needs for now, it's Unity, and to speak from one voice.
I can understand that some citizens thinks that i'm not giving enough information on the current situation, but we all have to understand that the situation is very important, and rare : we are at a key moment of eRepublik. The United Netherlands have to be sure to not be alone tomorow, and it won't be the case. We can see the future with hope, without being affraid. As President, i'm talking each day with differents presidents of others countries to find a common solution.
What i propose to you, people of the United Netherlands, is to come on irc and to meet me !
I will organise a Presidential meeting on sunday 20:12.
The meeting will last one hour and voice will be given to our citizens willing to ask me some questions. Information to find the meeting channel will be provide on our national irc channel, irc.rizon.net / #eUNL...
I hope that a maximum of our citizens will be able to attend at this Presidential meeting and that i will be able to give you a maximum of answers.

Finally something of a response..
I am sorry to say that I can't be at the IRC meeting tough..
Hope there will be some official statement afterwards on the forum or by al means through pm if necessary (If again some dude thinks I want all the info out in the open). I am really curious about the outcome.. and therefore the future of eUNL..
20:12 +1 GMT I presume? But that is during the weekly GLD meeting.
I will not be there, but I hope it will be interesting and that articles will be writen about what will be said during this meeting.

Choosen or forced?
Andreas, every member of congress could vote according to her/his own ideas, so what's the problem?
Before the vote you told congress voting against it would mean leaving peace, and still the majority decided to vote against the charter. You may not be happy about this, but this is democracy, you'll have to live with it.

Funny how you come out of your bunker every time when a article is written about you. Sadly we still have NO answers and no clear vision presented. I had hoped that you would have posted something so that we the citiczens could prepare ourselves for the discussion. I sadly will not be able to make it due to a prior engagement however I do ask that a copy of this meeting can be posted by you.

Thanks for setting up this IRC meeting however I won't be attending most of it as it clashes with the weekly GLD meeting.
