This Week In... [Announcement]

Day 2,811, 12:32 Published in Canada Israel by cyber ninja

So, I just recently started playing eRepublik again. In the couple of weeks I've been here I've noticed activity rising once again. I think this is awesome, I mean if nobody's active then eRepublik is pretty tedious/boring.

One thing I found frustrating when playing eRepublik before was keeping up with current events, in politics especially. There would be many newspaper articles and forum posts, and often times they were stretched out very long, and I wouldn't always have the time or attention span to read all of them. As well as being long, some of them were talking about topics without context, and I would struggle to find background information on these topics.

I would like to see activity rise even more (if possible) and also get people involved in the game again. To help prevent people from getting frustrated trying to sift through newspaper articles and forum posts to find the important ones, as well as trying to get context on them, I will be posting a weekly article discussing and summarizing the events of the week.

It is my belief that short summaries accompanied by the related articles will help citizens sift through and find out what they want to know without being overwhelmed.

So here is my plan:
- Once to Twice a week summarize events from the week
- Short summaries accompanied by "read more" links to other articles
- Plugs for people to get involved?
- Possibly a monthly summary and election help
- Just facts, no opinions from me.
- Posts probably on Sundays (and possibly Wednesdays)

Hopefully this will help! Let me know what you think in PM's or in the comments!

Cheers!
