This is what I want you to do

Day 780, 10:32 Published in Canada Canada by Jacobi

Heya all.

Busy busy time for us in the federal government, getting all organized in the new year but I would like to take this time to thank all Canadians for the trust and faith they've placed in my government...there are some exciting things that we are to be looking for, perhaps even things that will make the election past look tame in comparison.

To supporters of Derek Harlan😛 As you might know, Derek and I agreed the night of the election that we would bring whomever lost into the government as it appeared to be the will of the people that both of us not have a significant mandate. To that end, Derek has been given Prime Ministerial access to command channels and the forums, and has been involved in some of the decision making processes that have been going on these last few days. Obviously, in case of ban or impeachment we have made sure that there would be a seemless transition and immediate continuity of government.

While we have a lot of preparation and organization as a team that we have to surmount, there are things that are beyond the scope of the Federal Government to enact, things where the individual is the best insurer of success. So.

This is what I want you to do.

1. Buy Savings Bonds.

The Government is pleased to announce that a Savings Program is now in effect for the month of January! For the next 20 days only, every ONE gold you donate to the Canadian Ministry of Finance will net you FORTY Canadian dollars after only two months! Repayment is guaranteed within 60 days after the donation and all proceeds will go towards Canadian military preparedness.

Gold is in extreme necessity for any government in erepublik. Please help your country and grow your savings with Canadian Savings Bonds!

Fine Print:

Exchange rate: 1 Gold = 40 Canadian
Organization: Canadian Ministry of Finance run by Sir DeLaShaunRonSmith
Repayment Guarantee: 60 days
Offer valid only until January 28
Offer only available to Canadian or allied citizens

2. Buy an organization if you haven't already.

Organizations are good. They give you an extra vote for your newspaper and an extra subscriber. They also have twenty more slots with which to put your swag. It's for the latter reason that I'm asking you to shell out 5 gold to purchase your very own organization. Then, read the following article by my best friend forever, William Duncan: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-art-of-ewar-1082992/1/20

The government cannot urge you enough of the necessity of having a war kit during significant battles. Not only will being prepared help YOU, but it will also help your country!

3. Join the forums, if you haven't already

The forums are good too. Not only will Immigration Canada provide you with $15 worth of weapons (to put in your kit, maybe?) just for signing up, but there is lots of information and activity there for you to get the most out of the game. http://www.ecanada.ws/forums is where you can view your Congress in action, where you can meet and interact with your fellow citizens and even join a university class to learn more about the game. Also, forum members will be pleased to know that during future critical battles, one can receive free weapons just by posting in certain threads.

I can tell you, you won't regret signing up.

4. Join the Rangers, if you haven't already.

The Rangers are awesome. Free weapons, camaraderie, free weapons, meeting new friends, free weapons, advancing faster through the game, did I mention the free weapons? Canada needs active new soldiers. Canada needs YOU.

The Ranger sign up is on the ecanada forums, so make sure to register first!
