Now that you have seen the team here are the plans and policies that will help lift Norway out of the dark ages that we have been thrown into. My governments experience nor creativity and loyalty to Norway cannot be matched. We are fit, ready and able to lead Norway.

Alliance Negotiations
Of course this is a topic that is hard to avoid. Asgard's future has come into question many times recently and I think it is time to have a healthy debate on the issue. The only things we ever hear about alliances recently from our government is that "they are working hard behind the scenes" but we have seen no real results as of yet. In fact we have seen the complete opposite. We have been told that we were "unofficially invited" to join Pacifica but that is not the truth. I have spoken with their alliance leader who denied that Pacifica was looking to expand anytime soon and that no invitation was ever given.

The Russian CP also confirmed that no invitation was given but only one day talked about the possibilities of joining Pacifica in the far future. Now to me this does not sound anything like an "unofficial invitation." This sounds like a government desperate to announce something to make it look like they are actually involved in alliance discussion when its evident there is no such thing going on. For the time being under my government I will make sure we are apart of new alliance discussions but make sure that Sweden and Norway joining together is contingent on joining any new alliance.


Restoring Relations
Our relations with the Dutch have unfortunately not been the best after our recent wars. But our current CP has not made this situation any better. The Dutch enjoyed invading us simply for taking pleasure in wiping out his new country. Under his government we cannot have any kind of relationship with the Netherlands which in my opinion is not good at all.

I have been working with one of my counterparts in the Netherlands who is also running and we have agreed that restoring our relationship is in the best interests of both of us. We are both small nations within our regions and natural neighbours. Apart of this will be trying to negotiate a deal with Pacifica together. The Netherlands have a great relationship with the USA and we have a great relationship with Russia. Together perhaps we can find a way to work with Pacifica on an even closer level, whether it is starting actual negotiations for joining the alliance or working towards a treaty to integrate our factions militarily, socially and economically. My team will be the only team who can accomplish this.


Respecting Congress
Recently our Congress has been disrespected. When a Congress Member questions the government (as is their right) a lot of the time it isn't taken seriously. Questions must be asked several times and it gets to the point where it becomes a fight. If the question was just answered in the first place, there would be no reason for trouble. I love what our democracy used to be. An open and safe place for Norway to make the best decisions for her people. Now that doesn't exist. I will respect our Congress. I will answer the questions asked of me and I will do it in a respectful way. At no time will I attempt to intentionally leave our Congress Members from the Congress thread just because I am playing partisan politics and do not agree with them.

If there is an issue in the Congress, it should be dealt with by the Congress. No executive ruling from the President should come into play here. I will let Congress do their job.

Including our Veterans
Norway was made what it is today because there were many people who dedicated a lot of time, effort and real life money to our cause. Those people have not been included in our government and the way its ran for a long time. Without them we probably wouldn't be where we are today and that is why I have reached out to many of them to include them in my government such as bATRA, Per Jostein, Kilorien, Vileskont and Akashaton. By sending out this invitation and bringing back our veterans in roles as Advisor's to the government which will give them access to our government threads and forums and allow them to raise their input on the issues facing us today.


Accountability Out of the President's Office
The President's Office and inner circle has become such a secret place as of late. The Government and Congress threads were separated even though the entire government also all hold Congress seats! Not to mention we only have a 10 member Congress right now. Why is there a need to run things separately? Some might call it a partisan fortress. If I am elected I will revert back to our traditional ways of this and create one thread for all Congress Members and Government Officials to take part in. My government will have no secrets that we must hide from Congress. Isn't it time to have accountability out of the President's Office?

Do You Know Where Your Hitting?
These last couple of terms have seen an increase in confused solders going to battle. Are we hitting for Russia, are we hitting for Italy, are we hitting for Norway? Who really knows!? I don't know if its because nobody in the MoD wants to or if its because the reason for that is being kept secret also but under my government we will go back to having active battle orders so Norwegians know when and where to hit. No more wasting damage.

Active Announcements
I will actively be posting announcements of what the government as a whole is up to. It is important to have transparency with our citizens. This past term we seen one single government update (thanks Profan5) but other than that, all was quiet. To help me better establish this I want to commission work on a page similar to something we use for the MoFA but instead have it as an open questionnaire. Anyone, anytime can submit questions into it anonymously and I will (or the appropriate Minister) will be able to answer those questions during government updates. Lets restore government transparency.


Lets Restore Norway
Well those are my plans and my policies I will install. I can guarantee you I have the time to see them out as well as I am now going to be on holidays in a few short days. I just want to leave you with something to think about. How long does it take to do a job, to get a job done? One month…maybe two? How about three? Our current CP has reigned for three out of the last four months and yet his motto is "We just want to ask you to let us finish our job." How many months does it take to do the job?

Time is up. Norway cannot sit idly by and wait for an inactive government to "get the job done." Ask anyone in the Netherlands, it is his personal motto and it will not change, he always needs just one more month. We are getting into a very dangerous cycle by keeping the same CP and government for this long. People start to feel entitled. I have been leading the opposition for some months now and If I really wanted power to just hold it for myself, I would of ran long ago. I have been in Norway for two years years and have been CP just twice. He has been here for a lot less than that and has already been CP three times going for his fourth. I run when we need somebody to run not because I want to be CP that is the difference, and right now we truly need someone else to run.
