Red Revolutionary

Looking back on my soon coming year of playing this game, I have seen the rise and fall of Communist Russia, a glorious and thriving country sewn by the will and hard work of its people, never succumbing to the "riches and glory" of capitalism and its sister imperialism, always willing to help his fellow worker, and always working to make the promise of the Mother Land brighter.

Though the golden days of such an era have long since been, and the dark and treacherous times of the eRomanian imperialists has began all too early, let it be known that a bright future still lies ahead for those who seek it. Let it be known that the leaders and members of the CPSU and Internationale hold the key to Russia's salvation, and that of her workers.

Although I give you this message out of the confines of my will and hope to see Russia's resurrection, it must be known that I have lost the will to continue to play this game under the current conditions all eRepublik players are confined to.

As the weeks have passed since the initiation of V1, I have only witnessed the degradation of the game itself due to the eroding corruption of the admins and the general propaganda that goes hand-in-hand with such actions, resulting in many undesired situations to come to light.

In a recent conversation with Heymans, it was brought to my attention that the admins actually deleted the treasury of a Portuguese party strictly due to the fact that they were COMMUNIST!!!!! I thought that having a game structured only around capitalism was bad enough, but to have a "Red Scare" and delete someone's treasury because of their ideology is absurd and asinine!!

Though the controversy of the matter may distinctly lie in the fact that those players possibly PAYED for their treasury with REAL money, and the admins carelessly deleted it without warning, it is still utterly disturbing to me that the creators of eRepublik would be so ignorant and intolerant of someone's political or ideological views as to delete their hard earned work, both in this game and in real life seeing as they may have actually payed with REAL money (which they would have had to have worked in real life for or take from someone who had) and/or click buttons for ages in game. This is both sickening and disturbing.

How could such fascists create a game based off fairness and equality, yet steal from those who worked hard to obtain something fairly or within bounds of the eRepublik "law?"

Taking this event as the sign of the eApocalypse, I have found it heart-wrenchingly necessary to resign my use of this game as it violates the very rights the game guarantees. Such actions by the admins, those of a tyrant and a bigot, are enough to make me quit this game. I refuse to play under the rule of a fascist, "all powerful" administration, unjustifiably ruled by the human condition, wrought with corruption.

Times will be tough, but there will be a time when the Romanians are not a majority, and they will be challenged by every eCitizen they have oppressed. One day, they will have their justice and Mother Russia will once again be liberated. One day, the fascists will be overthrown and the eRepublik we once remembered, pre-V1, will be restored.

You are Russia's last hope. Only through your determination and sacrifice can Russia be restored. Remember the days of the RRF and you will again see the path that must be taken.
