The Wet Candidacy

Day 1,809, 13:17 Published in South Africa South Africa by Mr. Wet

Firstly, I want to thank the DB-Political Faction for giving me this opportunity to run for my second term as Country President. I know I'm not normally a tl;dr type of guy, so I apologize in advance.

Secondly, I'd like to re-introduce myself to the young and old of the community. I'm Mr. Wet and I've done some stuff, more stuff than I can probably remember to list. I'll try to name the important stuff.

I was Vice President twice, the first in May of 2011 and I followed that up with a Country Presidency in June. It was a pretty boring time, sure we created all the Brazil Treaty stuff those two terms, but I only received two impeachment attempts. I'll consider it a failure if I don't get three.

I was Vice President again under Oprah, I've also advised a few times. I've done some MoFA, MoDA, and Military stuff here. I'm also a former Senior Officer in the eUS Airborne and active member of the Dignity Brigade.

I know I'm not the most popular guy out there, but you can't deny that actions I've taken in this game for the last almost 3 years have always been with eSA in mind.

My campaign is built around activity. That is actually the reason I even decided to run, to spark an actual election race. We need things like this to remind people that this game can be fun and exciting, and I have some plans to help push this forward should I be elected.

The ministry of Domestic Affairs is one of the main ways we can spark activity. I hope to spend a lot of time working with this department. I want to rejuvenate the mentorship program; newbies are always going to be the key to a healthy nation. We have to show new players how to succeed in the game, and invite them into our community.

As far as the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign affairs, we seem to be in the mix of some changing of the guards in terms of world alignments. I foresee some exciting opportunities in the future.

The security department, as always, is incredibly important to our success. We are always under some sort of threat, that's no secret. I hope to help develop a strong line of connection between myself, them, and congress to ensure we are protected.

In conclusion:

I'm not running for a medal, I already have one. I'm running because I care about this country. (As much as a man can care about an internet browser based country) I'm running to help spark some fun, some activity, and some excitement.

I'm Mr. Wet, and I'd appreciate your vote on the 5th of November.
