How to Fight

**Based off of this Fighting Guide written by Gaius Julius.**

Basics
In order to fight in any battle you must be level 5 and have 40% wellness or above. Now if you can afford weapons you should use them to fight with. But you can also just fight with your bare fists if you lack the cash to purchase weapons. Weapons increase the damage you do each time you fight by quite a bit which leads you to rank up faster in the military.

Following Orders
Always follow orders given. Usually look in the highest rated news on the eRepublik homepage. They have titles similar to “Citizens Orders Aug 16 ***Updated***” and are usually put out by the DOD or some other government official or agency.

How Many Times to Fight
You should always try to keep your wellness hovering around in the 90s. After each battle you can heal at your state hospital. In Florida, we have a Q5 hospital, which means after you fought and you go to the hospital, you will be healed 50 wellness. So if you are going into the battle with 98 wellness you can fight 5 times. 98-10(5) =48+50=98
But if you only have 45 wellness going into the fight you should fight once and then heal up 50. That would be a net gain of 40 wellness which would bring you up to 85 wellness and optimize your productivity at work (You can then ask for a raise).

Political Take-Over (PTO)
Not all fighting is done militarily. Large and populous countries often will launch PTO on smaller countries. PTO’s are a lot harder to execute then they have been in the pass with the new citizenship module, but are still a threat. Countries try to push candidates into congress to wreck havoc on the economy, impeach the president and loot the treasury.

Propaganda
This is another tactic countries use to infiltrate other countries media and try to sway public opinion or cause confusion. Countries will support false newspapers giving false orders on where to fight or try to cause a rift of debate between the target country. Sometimes they will comment on official newspapers and act shocked about how horrible or immoral the newspapers is saying. Or perhaps say the newspaper is wrong, and you have a moral obligation to fight somewhere else. All it is is trying to sow confusion amongst the target population.

•PEACE invades and takes Washington and Nunavut
•UK helps PEACE create “buffer” zone in Canada

•PEACE attacks Manitoba and Idaho
•USA retreats Idaho and attacks Manitoba to secure the more valuable region

•Quebec falls to PEACE along with 3 states: Oregon, Utah, and Montana
•Russia attacks Canadian Alaska
Day 10
•Manitoba falls to peace along with 3 more states: Nevada, Wyoming, and North Dakota
•North Korea supports US by attacking Russia
•Spain supports US and Canada by attacking France
Day 11
•Norway supports US by attacking Russia
•US goes on offensive
Day 12
•Portugal and Indonesia have both attacked the U.S. (Georgia and Hawaii)
•Canada attacked Manitoba and Saskatchewan
Day 13
• Georgia and Hawaii fall
Day 14
•Colorado falls, PEACE attacks California
Day 15
•California falls

After California fell PEACE advanced quickly through the western US. Texas was the next American strong point, but eventually that too fell to PEACE…
PEACE pushed on into the eastern US taking the capital. New Jersey and Florida are the two remaining US strongholds…
On other fronts Canada completely has fallen. A few resistance wars rage on every now and then, but all the strongholds are gone.
The High Iron Region of Spain fell, crippling the US and Allies ability to manufacture weapons…
Greece is one of the few positive points so far in this war. Greece still has its high iron region and has pushed Turkey completely out of the country.

And now the fight is over for us Americans.... While we will continue to support our allies... we will no longer be fighting at home.
