The War Chronicle - Day 1

Day 354, 15:59 Published in Indonesia United Kingdom by taytaz

War declared, and nothing but bloodshed has been seen since. Australians are adamantly fighting to defend their rights with their ATLANTIS allies, fighting against the cruel and oppressive Indonesian regime, who are receiving little help from their so called friends in PEACE.

Early heroes for the Australians, widdows9000 and firefly, got the resistance wheel turning, putting a mild dent in the wall. This offensive was well supported by American Thisgenmedia and later, Bremer. All this time, Australians were also fighting alongside them, with MachineMadness and Corny-Ratbag fighting well.

However, due to time-zones, the Indonesians were able to claw back against the sleeping ATLANTIS forces. The wall was pushed into the Secure zone, and hope was beginning to be lost. Many Australian soldiers were forced to retire for the day, praying the full force of ATLANTIS would come to their rescue overnight.

And that they did. Forces like the eUK paratroopers and eUSA Marines provided excellent offensive punch, bringing the wall down to just 70K. ATLANTIS forces continued vehemently attacking the wall, in face of the monumental effort put in by Blink-az, the Indonesian field Marshall. Zaney countered this effort as well, providing 5000 points of welcome resistance, but the real hero of this battle lies in the bravery of Butnaru, with almost 25000 points to his name.

New fighters have entered the field, many from the eUK, like Big Boy Bully and Twaters, attempting to retain the great advantage the Australians have, and Australian Military divisions, like the Dropbears, led by MachineMadness, the Australian Defence Force, led by Ultrus Noobus, and the AMC Redbacks, led by Tecchi, have been invaluable to the war effort.

The battle is likely to continue for a few more days, the next target is still classified, but an Australian win is eventually likely, with the help of its ATLANTIS brothers.
