The USA frustrated articles in the portuguese media.
I wonder if this USA citizens realise that they are hurting their own image by trying to tease and make fun of Portugal because they didn't have to pay 5000 gold. With all due respect to the USA players, if my country was quite damaged and conquered by a much smaller country (with or without help) I would be sitting in my corner in shame, rather than making provocative articles trying to get even somehow. Here's an idea for you: WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT AGAINST US WITH YOUR WEAPONS, INSTEAD OF YOUR FAILED ARTICLES?
This small country is here, somewhere in Europe (try to find it, I know it will be hard)... waiting for you. Let's see if you can do the same that we did to you. We can even pay you 10000 gold for you to give us our regions back... you know why? Because this won't ever happen!
