The soldiers return
Schleswig-Holstein was a success. Cheering is well deserved, but the war is far from over. The Swedish paratroopers know this. And they have experienced too much to not feel the cold stench of death in the air. While their faces are left without expression, their insides scream with a mix of joy and disgust. Killing isn't a pleasure - it's a duty.
They all gather back at the base and one by one they enter a solitary room. Inside sits a lone man. All of them say the same thing - a verse which has become the soldier's way of repenting his deeds.

...just won a battle but not the war! We will strike back and you will not know when or how. Sweden decided to fight Germany for lower reasons and now we are all 100 % German. We are united, we are organized and you won't win the war that's the only thing I can promise.
