I don't know about the rest of you, but, I'm voting for the foreigner who tells everyone not to trust other foreigners and calls them out PTO's! That's brilliant! What's even more brilliant is that its actually effing working!
DMV may not be your best friend but he knows that in order to "win" erepublik, you gotta have power and influence. Anyone who tells you that he/she "genuinely cares" about some virtual nation in this game is delusional and probably not someone you'd trust. I trust DMV. I don't mean that sarcastically. He is playing a game and he's trying to win. I can't fault a guy for that. Isn't that why we're here? And don't say friendship. If you need eRep to make friends, you have bigger issues than who wins a pretend election.
Its simple, eRep is train wreck. DMV handles the train wreck pretty well. He doesn't jump on people or get overly personal in his attacks. He doesn't care what you think of him. He's clicking buttons and calculating his next move. if you want to be on a winning team, wouldn't you want to follow a guy who isn't afraid to politely step on a few feet to get there?
