The Psychlo's Stole my Baby!

Another day, another minus-dollar. Employees come and go at companies, that’s just the way of things and today at the Not For Profit Weapons Co. things were no different. One employee left us, only to have another one take his place. The ex-employee, we’ll call him EmployeeX 😉, has left the company to work for a rival weapons maker, Lets call them the Not For Canada Weapons Co., owned by a foreign Org., Lets call them The Psychlo's Org.

Before I go any further I’d like to make it clear that this is not an attack on the player or his ethics; we’ve lost too many great eCanadians in recent days to character assassination and I won’t be lumped in with those that can find nothing better to do than nip at the heals of better players until those righteous players are so aggravated that they leave us. I only bring up this employee as an example. I’m also not saying that everyone at my company should work there forever, but only that if you have monetary needs, come to me first before quitting and I’ll crunch the numbers to see if I can swing a raise or fill any other requirement.

Oh dude, another raise?


So why did EmployeeX leave the company? It was for a reasonable cause; a few cents more a day, and I don’t say "reasonable" sarcastically, it is reasonable to expect good pay for good work. So why am I bringing it up? We are ALL employees in one way or another in this great nation and as such we have to understand that our labor is more than just a pay stub. Where the profits go that we help to make each day is our responsibility to know and to control. I’m sure EmployeeX did this without thinking about the negative effects his actions would have on the local economy, by shifting his labor profits out of eCanada. You might be thinking; what’s one mans labor? Well, let me ask you this; What is one mans labor… or two men… or 50 men or 1000 men….I think you see what I’m getting at. We can only be responsible for our own actions and I feel that working for “out of county Org’s” is irresponsible.

I don’t pretend to be an economist but I have read a few very good ones and while many of them say that foreign investment is good for the economy, many of them also say that it’s only a quick fix and that in the long run companies invest here because they know they will take a lot more out of the country than they put in. You can’t blame them, that’s what business men do and companies solely exist to make a profit, that’s the idea most of the time. And you can be sure that once those profits are collected they will not be re-invested in good eCanadian causes, just as you wouldn’t use the profits you made in their country to help their boom or their charities.

You know where that money’s goin? Q5 Psychlo whore’s, That’s where!



Please consider who you work for carefully before jumping at the all mighty dollar. Because if you don’t you may find yourself with a 1 gold job. Sounds Great right? Except when you go to market you may only find 2 gold food.

Work Canadian, Buy Canadian, Be Canadian. That’s always been my goal in the game and in real life and I sleep well because of that motto.
