The problem with politics

Everyone in the world has an opinion. If your on the Internet you can mostly express you opinion with free abandon.



Most CAN. Most don't. In eIreland we have 208 citizens. Right now in eBulgaria we have 154 online players. Right now in eIreland there is 10 online players.



They can throw stones all day in eIreland. And the ILP has done a fine job of attacking most opposition players.

ILP here is the kicker some part of the ILP. The small part at the top that actually expresses their opinion.



Most others just vote on issues if at all. eIreland is run by at most 11 people. They have a 20 man congress:

8 ILP
6 Eire Aonair
4 Irish Freedom Party
2 ILD

Party 2 and 4 is opposed to government so our majority lie in 12 players at most.

ePolitics in eIreland a small country means that every decision is made by an ever smaller group of players. Atop the congress sats the cabinet who makes most of the proposals.

Does eIreland still have a real democracy.

Democracy, or democratic government, is "a system of government in which all the people of a state or polity ... are involved in making decisions about its affairs, typically by voting to elect representatives to a parliament or similar assembly," as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary.[1] Democracy is further defined as (a🙂 "government by the people; especially : rule of the majority (b🙂 " a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

81/208 players made a cross in the last congress elections. 127 players chose to be unrepresented. So who is the real majority: The 31 players that voted for the ILP or the 127 players that says we dont want a congress or a representative in congress.

Our majority party is but 14.9% of players. Of those only 7 said we want to be in government. Of those probably only 4 ever contribute an opinion. And we can go in all parties and there will be at most 30% of the congress actually having an opinion.

What we do, who we are friends with and how much our soldiers get is determined by 7 politicians. Not that how much our soldiers get is ever discussed. Not that the military is ever discussed. Despite on a diplomatic level. Most countries have effectively a military leader. A player who have a high standing in the military.Rikhian was about the last one that fit that crown.

You see your 7 players having an opinion is none a soldier or a commander of a seriously competitive mu. They simply have no friggin clue.

Our MOD is not really a good soldier. So when your wondering why we are currently still under occupation. Its because the people in charge really have no clue about the military game. they think big tanks is fighting with strength only. Which is impossible. Maybe they during their careers fought only with strength. But one cannot lay down a billion damage in a battle with just 6000 energy? There is a drain of your resources each time you go in big. So what mu would you prefer: One that pays you 500 Q7 weps a week plus food or one that pays you nothing and expect you to fend for yourselves.

You see when I asked the government for resources it was because my resources was strained. They basically ignored the request. Then when cornered referred to the irish Army who is a mostly dead military unit.

Everyone that excels in this game strain their resources. Its a constant balancing act between what you have where you want to be and what you need right know. Their opinion is basically everyone should fend for themselves.



Their attitude is if you dont get Mr Right you take what is left and push it to the right side.

Simply put. they have no clue.

So our question is what game is left in eRepublik.

Media - check although only about 20 big newspapers around the world (your reading one of them right know(volume wise))

Politics - When your aim is democracy and you live in a small eCountry. ePolitics is the smallest module. Why should 7 men make decisions that will make decisions for a mu of over 100 MU when it is established in a few days. None. Democracy is dead. And we will bury it in a few days. Who will we lose the 7 players. Perhaps but then they were prepared to gamble our entire armies away for political goals. We had in Tomislav Rex Croatorum one of the best young players. A division winner. Lady Silver a division winner. Don Croata on his day a decent amount of damage in division 4. Me constantly number 3 in division 4 in eIreland. Moomoohead a player who outperformed me easily ind division 4 when he wants to. Unfortunately with Biedny nerusia, the axis of the eIrish armies. If WHS could not have seen this before he will be shown now why a military rule is what eIreland needs. Politics has failed us. The voices grew to strong they didnt hear the rumbling of the approaching tanks. I came from military games. You can still focus on most stuff. there is still diplomats , leaders and discussion. But then discussion as members of eIreland not a small 31 member party that wants to tell everyone how they should think and act. ILP your run is over. you failed miserably.

Military - The game has advanced in the military sub game massively. Most players should adjust their game to be better soldiers. If you want an outlet of your thoughts there still will be the media where you can air your opinions. eIreland will disappear ala Hy Brazil under the sea if they dont focus on the military now.

Economy - is at a peak. Players can really make money. Investing your time in the economy will reap you massive profits in the long term and make it possible that one day you can also supply soldiers.


I want us to think about the politics as a game feature not a role playing aspect. Can we part with it. Yes quite easily. What is the alternative the LPA and irish army combined cannot even fight themselves out of a blanket made of dough.

Remember how I said that a tank's resources is stretched most of the time. yes but the game made one thing difficult on other countries. TP medals need to be gained at your total tp total. Say Biedny have made 400 billion in total for our country. 1 TP medal in Bulgaria will require 400 billion there. If you check mine is on 7 billion. Whereas in Ireland it remains at 100 million meaning if he scores 1 billion in a battle he makes 10000 iep. That is probably the one and only reason besides misguided loyalty that keeps big tanks in eIreland. And our bonuses may under ILP rule stay indefinitely occupied by a foreign army.


Biednymis and Nerusia


cannot do everything! They are in one division. I cannot supply a 100 member army on my own. The Ilp believes in no supplies. No Supplies means no incentive for a player to stay in Ireland. No supplies means buying 10000 weps with your money. Means 10000 leass for eb means that damage less. Supplies just helps a player makes ends meet. That player can go without but then need that from other sources. So the 3 or 4 players supplying a global Irish Military Unit will mean more for Ireland that 5 ILP will. Even 500 Ilp's mean 0 tanks for eIreland and 0 supplies 😃. Nogin reminds me of the woodstock film when the gay son(to establish the correct reference) finds with him struggling to make ends meet and keep the motel afloat finds in his mothers cupboards boxes and boxes of money she stashed for a day that will never come. Nogin despite her riches means 99% of the time 0% for eIreland. She is as good for Ireland as a real button that one push



Unfortunately players never want anything from government but also never want to contribute nothing for the greater good of Ireland. In the end careful not the richest player in the world helped me with 1000 q7 weapons. Now with players like Nogin on 6000 work tickets and how much Q7 factories. one can only wonder. How much would it have cost her really. A players sitting on a potential war stash of 200000 Q7 Weps.

He: There is no supplies and no direction in the Irish army

So easy to recruit such a player



Ignore this council and remember most players have committed themselves already to a new military regime and this will remain Irelands future under the ILP
