Welcome to the first edition of The Political Insider, Today we take a look at the top two right leaning political party, we dicuss the recent congress elections and what we can expect from the two.

The United Kingdom Reform Party

The United Kingdom Reform Party

I contacted Jamesw, who is currently the UKRP Director Of Recruitment with a few questions,
I first noted,

The UKRP has been on political scene since the eUK was founded. We've seen dominate the political arena many times but recently we've all saw the casual dwindling of the party, with the October congress elections now past and UKRP holding 20% of Parliament, are we about to witness the the giant reawakening?

Jamesw-
Its no secret that the UKRP was, and still is struggling with activity issues. Under the current party structure however, we are seeing very positive signs. Older players are returning to help, and everyday new players join in-game. Whilst we are by no means back to full strength yet, I believe the eUK may well witness the rebirth of the UKRP giant; under Wossoo the party has already achieved so much; to increase our congressional presence on the back of a seemingly unstoppable TUP, a resurgent PCP and an omni-strong RFA is nothing short of fantastic in my book.

I then wonder, as Jamesw was the recruitment director for the UKRP what campaigns can we expect the following month?

Jamesw -
The great thing about the UKRP is that no one person is in absolute control. Whilst I'll do my best to put in action what I think is best for the party, I think its very much a case of "progress through unity" - we're all here for the same reason after all; to improve the eUK. Campaign-wise, I can't reveal the details obviously (because we're not 100% finished debating them) but I will say that personally, I am a great believer in the power of regional, de-centralised power. Stronger, better equipped councils, combined with more active congressmen can only bring good to regions. There's also the usual suspects: more military funding, more information and dedication on new players, but also trying to re-create the 'fun factor' that we are so sorely missing at the momentwe want our midget-jelly back!

If you could advertise the party in five words, what would they be?

Jamesw-
Progress through inclusive group discussion.

Finally, I probed to see how confident is UKRP that they'll see a Prime Minister back under their banner before January.

Jamesw -
In terms of PM elections, I am sure I speak for all the UKRP when I say we don't want to turn the elections into a partisan issue. Having parties fight purely to get their candidate elected is a fruitless endeavour. As parties, we have a duty to support thebest person for the job- not the best person in our own party. This is signified by our recent support of who we thought was best for the job in the last election; GLaDOS (even though he was FDP). If you look at the history of PM elections, the only main party who has consistently decided to back better candidates from other parties, in place of capable candidates from their own ranks is the UKRP, and this shows our dedication to abetter eUK/

A very interesting insight into the nations traditional political heavyweight. I'd like to thank Jamesw for taking the time to answer a few questions.

I also contacted Clash Fresto of the British Empire Party, who is their recruitment manager, however he was busy at the time and the Party President, Sir Terry the Great replied instead. I asked similar questions to what I asked Jamesw from the UKRP.

The British Empire Party

The British Empire Party

The first question I put forward was,

The British Empire party has secured, once again, 10% of congress. However, this time , all four congress members are actual BEP. With last months hijacked by Wingfield and Detriot34. I believe this can be classed as nothing but a success, are you confident of even more improvement next month?

STTG-
I believe this is a moderate success, and we can only build on this next month. The BEP's congress success will increase along with its member count, which we can see steadily increasing with each passing day.

As Party President for the BEP, what electoral campaigns can we expect and are they any worries FDP may displace the BEP to 6th place?

STTG-
The party has invested recently to be able to generate a steady income to allow for a more robust advertising budget, you may have seen recently that we have had a fair few adverts out and we can see how increased advertising as well more dynamic recruitment will see the BEP being able to not only gain better success at the next congressional elections but fend off the FDP too, whose recruitment seems to have came to a halt recently.

With five words, how would you advertise the party?

STTG-
Sun never sets on BEP.

Lastly, I wondered if the party would be fielding its own candidates for the Presidential elections,

STTG -
This is a tough one. We were planning on running Dodgy Dude for PM, but he has now left the country on adventures with the eUK Special Forces, however remains active within the party. We will look at all of our options, and see who would be taken seriously as a candidate and if another party candidate deserves our backing or not.

I'd like to thank Sir Terry the Great for taking the time to reply to my questions,
This concludes the first edition of the political insider, which is due to be released every tuesday, next week we will be talking hopefully to the single centerist party, The Radical Freethinkers Alliance.
