The IA Has No Place in Austria
As our congressional elections come up in a few days I think its important to take a look at the Illuminus Austria party, recently at least they as a whole party have demonstrated a total disdain for the population, assuming they are superior to the populace, dismissing any dissent with "you don't know what we know," dusting off an old nugget of wisdom from the old testament that we would never know what God does, so we have no right to judge his actions. With an actual religious party now in our country, we don't need a deific party also.
Since Metallon took over as our country's president, the party's complex has been made more obvious, Ollorum in particular never responds to any message or criticism, go ahead and give it a try, he obviously doesn't care about us as a whole. Metallon is a firm opponent to those who disagree with him in the least, as evidenced by his total meltdown when I simply wanted a discussion board for a law proposal, that his lord and master Ollorum proposed. and since then the party has taken a lazy route of linking to profiles when requesting donations as opposed to making an article or debate in an attempt to limit information that gets to the voters.
The IA has no respect for the people, and has no interest in working with them, or for them, show them that they are not above you, vote them down, don't allow one IA member access to the congress, teach them that you deserve respect.

No, there is room for disagreement, I've already made peace with the former OVP and don't mind them at all, they seem like they're more willing to participate with the society, instead of lounging in the IA's personal crystal tower, separated from the masses.

cam94509, under lynari rule, but i negotiated myself with peace as a representative for their support, and the IA spent more then 150 gold alone to keep the wall negative, while lynari was paying hungaria mercs.
the other regions were already set to come back to austria since last gvt of metallon.( at May i think)

Man, you have no idea about how Antonio Salgado got stressed with this issue. He was the main person to talk to the Hungarians about the Burgenland's return. Also, CisoON (IA member) tanked in the last minutes avoiding any ultranationalist tanking to keep Burgenland under hungarian rule.
And what has changed in our economy? When we arrived here the GOLD was something like 82/90 ATS, now it's 70/72. When we arrived here the Austrian Central Bank had 250 Gold, now it have more than 500. e____e

As much as I disapprove of some of the IA's practices, I can concede that Antonio was helpful in the Burgenland process. I wouldn't describe him as "the main person," however...
I don't even know what to say... This article disgusts me. I see some of your points, but this? Really? Why take the low road? All Austrians deserve to have a voice and anyone who has lived in Austria knows what the major parties stand for and they don't need you to trash talk your political rivals. I'm sorry Nykoal, but the OIP will no longer be supporting your presidential bid. It's not even that I completely disagree with the things that you have said, it's just the way in which you decided bring them up was extremely unprofessional and plain rude.

I have to admit that I'm not much impressed by this article, either. This kind of mudslinging is silly. I don't agree with everything the IA has done, but the way to counter them is with sound policy and well-considered reform, not mudslinging.

I witnessed the printing of a lot of ATS, which I felt was unnecessary. But, with that said, I feel that mudslinging is not the appropriate way to counter policies with which one disagrees.

Come on... it's a game and she plays it well. Don't be so harsh and boring. She made a good and fun move. At the very least it spices up the political life in eAustria. It really doesn't matter whether the allegations are true or not and I hope that's not the point of the article ^^
btw: I've heard rumors that Travis James has a eMistress. Consider this in the voting booth! There are also some nasty rumors circulating involving some unpayed taxes and Nykoal. I'm just sayin'... Nykoal comes off as a hypocrite writing an article calling all Austrians to unite (insulting our then-named OVP party in the same article, by the way) and then a week later, she writes an article entitled "The IA has no place in Austria". You can call that playing the game "well", I will call it hypocrisy.

I'm not talking content. I don't fully agree with her position. I just really like her style and timing. It mimics exactly what goes on in the week before an election in RL. Desperate politicians try to gain an edge at literally any cost. And of course politics involve controversy and emotions. Newsflash: Politicians are human too (or so I've heard at least...). If Nykoal wouldn't think that RWR was the only true blessing for this country it would make her a bad politician. The only thing that matters is your cause, and your cause only.
Instead of commenting here "you play unfair" and "this is uncalled for, you meanie!" try playing too. If I were PP of, say, IA there would already be at least one counter-article be published stating how wrong Nykoal was and how she would lead this country down the drain. Of course there would be a solution too: Vote for IA, the only true guide into eAustria's bright future!

Well... perfectly. Then you have chosen your style. As you have said: There are many styles and you would rather have each of them respected. Good, so we basically agree. Then let me write in my style and Nykoal in hers. Freedom of Speech... it's even somewhere in our future constitution. I still don't fully get it (you complain about her complaining, you don't want to complain because that would immediately lower you to Nykoal's level and you would rather write about policy? doesn't quite add up), but that's okay. I'm not in favour of mudslinging (learned a new word ^^), but you have to admit it's kinda fun. I'm all for taking the high road, but then you shouldn't be here complaining. The true high road would be "let her write, whatever - it's not true anyway".

I'm not endorsing IA or any party. Don't like to be sensationalist? No problem. Example: "While others quarrel and write accusations, we here at IA work hard. We might not be perfect, but at least we get things done. Do you want to elect a talker or a worker? Your choice. Vote tomorrow. -IA".
I'm not saying you're all horribly horribly wrong. But I think it's not the right way to do *nothing*. Avoiding controvercy is not really the spirit of a multi-party political system. Take matters into your hands and react in the style you're comfortable with, but just react at least. I would have never written an article such as this, but I admire the bold move. She took matters into her hands and let the public know what she thinks.

I concur, that in the 2-3 months that IA has been in Austria, I have not seen any platform from the party indicating what they believe. It seems to be more of a social club, than a political organization.
As for doubleing the treasury: How is printing more money, and then converting it to gold, count as any real increase in value. You just divuted the ATS holdings of the populace and stuck it into the central bank.

No offense but, attacking a person in the public about their flaws is just rude. There are a ton of reasons why a person may not listen to your criticism. I personally don't live in Austria, but I believe if I told Metallon he or somebody on his government was doing something wrong he would take it into consideration. Which is amazing, considering that we aren't on good-terms. There is possibilities that he maybe just didn't agree with you, or you were rude about it as well, or even you have been unprofessional in the past so you aren't trusted by them.
Bluntly attacking somebody in the public just because you don't agree with them and can't get them to do what you want makes me believe that what I said above is true. As a foreign citizen I don't have forum access and I don't know you well, but already I feel like I don't want too either. I will give you the benefit of a doubt that you aren't doing it just to gain support for presidency. (though, looks like that would have backfired anyway)
Being honest, it looks like you are just trying to alienate the IA because they are your opposition, which I really hope just alienates yourself to show you that you are wrong.
As a politician and somebody wishing to run for president you should know that opposition is the best thing for a country. A country can not grow on ideas alone, it needs opposition to pick at the ideas and work them until they are perfect. If you don't have that, you just have half-success so to speak. You are not reaching your full potential as a country. Your enemies in the country are the people who will help you take the country the highest, not your friends.
I hope that you will consider taking back what you said here in this article, and issue an apology to the people you have spoken ill about.

Wow, it's 4:29 AM I am going through ancient articles and this one caught my eye, I must say that the only real butt hurt people are the I.A.
And if Nykoal stuck around 1 mere month she would have seen the structure completely crumble and the rise of a new party.
In the end the real winner is Nykoal it's real shame she wasn't around today to have the last laugh.
