The Handball World Championship in Croatia completely successful

All participants praised the organization of the World Championship

A general assessment of all participants, players, officials and spectators, is that the World Championship in Croatia was completely successful. The IHF president Hassan Moustafa several times stated that the championship was great, and that the future organizers will have a serious job to follow the standards set by the Croatia.

The six new sports halls was built, which fully accomplished everything what one big competition like this requires. Because it is about the biggest sporting event that was ever organized in Croatia, it was a question how so many people who participated in the organization will manage such a large project. The President of Croatian Handball Federation Sandi Sola presented also some interesting figures related to the championships.

On various ways even 10 000 people participated in the organization of the World Championship, and completely done their job. Regarding the broadcasters and media, radio and TV signal was spread to 15 countries around the world. Vast interest was in Croatia too, and it is sold 90% of all tickets for the World Championship. On the stands of all sports halls during the championship was a total of 200 000 spectators, while Croatia has arrived around 10 000 foreign fans. The Finals between Croatia and France watched on TV even 74% of the total TV spectators, which is, after the broadcast of a friendly football match Croatia - Brazil at the World Championship in Germany, the second program of all times.
