The government of eCanada is pleased to announce the creation of a New Citizen Support board on the eCanada forum. In order to ensure that the information on this board is current and accurate, we are please to announce the appointment of Dade Pendwyn as Deputy Minister of Communication for New Citizen Affairs.

"Dade Pendwyn's article 'Keeping Boomers - Our Untapped Potential' points out a clear need for an increase in our efforts to integrate new citizens." Prime Minister Zanalan announced today. "Our government believes that it is important to recognize this challenges. Appointing Dade to this post will allow us to ask and answer questions that are relevant to these citizens. Many of the senior citizens started their eLife during in the Beta world. They simply do not know all of the unique issues for a new V1 citizen."

The New Citizen Support board will be dedicated to providing answers. It will not be a discussion forum. As questions appear and are answered, they will be added to a (sticky) FAQ. In this way, we can ensure that new citizens are not left to fend for themselves.
