The good ePresident test. Why some just don't qualify?
Alphabethis
Some big names have been prowling around recently, claiming their right by birth to be CP ( Country President).
This recent political event and the threat of an opportunistic to become our CP
have moved me to write this simple test to realize how badly some candidates fit for that high purpose.
These are the points of the so-called "CP-Alphabethis test", to check upon a CP candidate:
- experience: in-game experience, most of us would agree 30 at the very least.
- empathy: a good CP is not only appreciated by people who knows him, but by people who
has just met him.
- popularity: a good CP wins not by a meager 51%, he wins for at least 60-75%.
- bountifulness: being this a game, if the guy doesn't understand that a jot of his wealth may flood
the tiny reserves of a newbie or not so lucky compatriot, then he's not an elligible for CP, he's a stingy.
- army experience: a couple of true patriot medals , and another couple of battle medals at least
- transparency: in both his style game and political aims, trustworthiness.
- moral values: the actitud towards choosing the decision on behalf of tradition, personal believes,
national believes, treats, alliances and promises, instead of pure math calculations and straight selfish benefit.
I'll name this test the CP-Alphabethis' test, so you can mention and reuse it.
To the reader: I don't mind if you vote or subscribe BUT, please,
broadcast, spread this post as much as possible, I think the content is essential for our country.

What is this?
You are reading an article written by a citizen of eRepublik, an immersive multiplayer strategy game based on real life countries. Create your own character and help your country achieve its glory while establishing yourself as a war hero, renowned publisher or finance guru.
You seem to have missed the point on almost every aspect. It's a shame, but not irredeemable.
I could have missed the point, but... does what I say make sense? or does it not apply to Keers? thanks.
And I can be wrong, but it's not a shame.
I hope to see more of these tests in the future, very entertaining.
The words add up together to mean something, sure, but almost every one of the assumptions underlying them miss the point, as I already told you. And that most certainly is a shame, I don't like to see newer players struggling so.
@talon, well, prove , discuss, point where and how I'm wrong, I'm open to it. And I do admit I'm be wrong, I'm not Keers, after all.
I may be wrong, I mean.
Forums would be a better... Forum for such discussion. Are you a member?
I am, in fact I'm an ESO recruit. But, I think the fight must take place here along Keers'.
ok brah, the fact that you'd label yourself as an ESO recruit immediately tells me you're a butthurt partisan, and everything you've said so far adds to that image.
you are not reasoning, you're using "ad hominen" falacies against me, I do expect more of an ex-CP, dear Talon.
I put certain reasonings in the article, prove them wrong.
You also misunderstand my purpose here I fear. I have no intention of arguing point for point with someone not prepared to listen, which you obviously are not.
again, another "ad hominem" attack and no brain, by your post you're just trolling ! hmmm. You could troll better, at the very least!
I'm saying, I'll go point for point with someone worth going point for point with.
It's funny accusing Talon of ad hom when you're kind of doing that in your article... (asserting what you think are reasons for "unity" and such).
I do think Iain Keers qualifies for CP even not getting 60%. His articles have much content and do giive a direction for eUK to go through. It is a choice given to our citizens.
Excercise left for the writer: Why would not jamesw qualify for CP (he got under 50% of the votes, but I do not care)?
