The Future of eRussia

We are living the transition. In this sense, parter is the transitional President.

This is the past of eRussia:

* A soldier insults the Minister of Defence in the PEACE war room because his friend is a cheater who has the control over the President account, which was abandoned after his player tried to steal money "for the lulz" (or for RL money in eBay, which apparently gives "lulz").

* A Minister of Defence disappears and does not say where or how long. The President notices some days later.

* The country loses intiative in the most important front of a world war because the above mentioned cheater was drunk and did not attend the game for about 40 hours.

* The President (or General Secretary of the Politburo, you choose) of an important party is asked about the conditions to support a future President .He says "if we get positions in the Government, yes". The surprised and pleased vice-president who asked, offers this comrade positions in the Government now and with no compensation required. He never hears again from the mentioned Party, until they propose a cheater and TOer as future President of the nation.

* After every change of President, there are new Ministries, with new members, and no written and defined functions. There is no Ministry of Governance, and many servants of the state (bureaucrats, soldiers, politicians) don't know their salary or if they will have any kind of salary.

This is the past, and this past is slowly disappearing. Because it is, above all, childish.

This is a game, yes. But it is becoming more and more serious with the time. This is logical and positive:

* First, because the most experienced players simply grow older. If you are not my age but the age of, say, Smirnoff or UncleDeD, two years are a lot of time.

* Second, because the mass of players make the countries more and more complex, hard to organize, and thus make a more professional state necessary.

This is the future of eRussia:

An organizational chart where all members of the State are visible, lies in the front page of the eKremlin forums. Clicking there brings you to all persons and positions. The maintenance is done by the Ministry of Information Technologies and the Ministry of Governance. A click in a button drives you to a 24/7 service of the Ministry of Information, which welcomes you with the words: "How can I help you?".

Descriptions of all job positions are easy to find, and the protocols only one click away. There are some vacancies and every newbie can severely improve his salary by helping the bureaucracy.

This is the future of eRussia:

The huge army is coordinated using traditions of months, in units which have their own wiki page and a history of their deeds. Medals and honorable mentions are distributed (a certain "General Apis" and a certain "flicus" are there), and their history and privileges are also in the wiki page. The soldiers serve the protection of the country acting as a man: When 200 eRussian soldiers attack in the last 5 minutes of a battle, they make 80.000 of damage and cost the state about 150 Gold. 200 is only a Legion, and the state has many, many legions.

This is the future of eRussia:

A lot of people do not want to work for the State. For them, it is... work. And they prefer to enjoy with other things. They join the Home Guard, and only have to report once a month (their total damage is considered in the strategical rooms of the State, with a million of points of damage moved by a single article in a newspaper). They spend their time in other activities: they write poetry, or share art. They find new ways to organize a company. They help in the International Anti-Bot Programmers Unit (sponsored by all main eCountries), or join new religions. They travel around the eWorld, or create new games within the game.

This is the future of eRussia:

Some people enjoy to serve. And we call them politicians, state officers, and soldiers. Their calling is to serve the rest of the people. They do it professionally, in a calm and efficient way. They are honest and transparent, not only because this is their nature, but also because there is a police watching the movements of the state money, and all state servants have signed severe in-game contracts which mean severe punishment in the case of corruption.

Most of them don't need them, though.

To be a soldier, is to serve the people by protecting them.
To be a bureaucrat, is to serve the people by helping them.
To be a politician, is to serve the people by leading them.

The first words of any of us should be "How can I help you?"

If you laugh at this, then you belong to the past. To the people who have still not understood that we can make eRussia a dream of Russia. How Russia should be, and could be.

Here, nobody can kill you for telling the truth. Here, nobody can shot you for revealing dirty business. And 10 honest people can defeat 100 liers... if 1000 are watching them. This is the secret of this game, and the key to the dream of eRussia.

This is the future: A REPUBLIC

Let us make it happen, as soon as possible.
