THE END – Story of a decent player and a cheater

First of all, I have to warn you that it’ll be a quiet long article which will tell you about my short story and my ideas about Erepublik but also this is one of the largest give away in the erepublik history. I hope admins don’t ruin it as they usually do.

This is who I am at first glance. Also, my 200 gold and 250k cc is deleted last week due to cheating.



I have been playing this game since 2008 ( the good old days ). I have some breaks within of course. As %90 of the old players do, I also miss the old days when there was a fair balance in the game. I hadn’t had a credit card at that time, so I can understand the perception of the “young players” who are not able to buy gold in this game. 4 years ago, buying gold was not that much important, it only had significant effect on battles and building companies ( which was very complex compared to today’s system ). At that time, I used to think that I would buy gold, if I had own a credit card but you know, it was like a dream for me. It was impossible. I used to love this game a lot but I didnt have a credit card because I was only 17. After playing for 1-2 year, I quit playing because the game was endless and I had some responsibilities in real life and most important reason was the game administration started to become EURO-FOCUSED. So, I quit because I had no chance to buy gold.

But everything had started again 1.5 years ago, I was 20. I was a totally free young man. I had my own cash flow, my own budget and my own credit card. So, I decided give another chance to this game because I always wanted to buy gold, own corporations, become a kingpin and play the game as a top, premium player. So, I bought a decent amount of gold which would enable me to build 2-3 q5 factories and to become self-sustainable which means I could earn my own gold to train all of the str buildings. My principle was simple about buying gold. I would buy gold only for sustaining my str improvement with my factories and sometimes I would buy extra gold for building more farms,mines,factories. I wanted to be one of the richest guys in the game.

So, everything was great after buying gold, I have met many friends with the help of commercial interactions such as black market in the game, and I started to get much more fun from the game. I was growing, growing and growing. Being powerful and being rich are mostly positively correlated and they both make you feel better 🙂 The game started to be an addiction for me.

And here we come to the most critical point of the story. Someday, I’ve met with a guy. We had build a good friendship with him. We were sharing a lot of things, informations, ideas and I was happy that I had found someone like me. We both had good capabilities but we were not using it ingame. We were talking about game mechanics, wars, economy module and etc. What we were doing was, “Theorycrafting” in terms . I was always wondering whether he was buying gold or not. I have always wondered how many people were buying gold like me. I mean, I was asking to myself that how many dumb people exist like me who buys gold frequently. He always told me that he never bought gold from the game, BUT HOW ON THE EARTH CAN SOMEONE TRAIN ALL STR BUILDINGS WITH ONLY 1 Q6 FACTORY. I kept asking same question to myself. There was something weird going on. As our friendship went tighter, he admitted that he was buying gold illegally. Then, everything has settled in my mind because it was impossible that, that many people could buy gold from erepublik for daily str. There was another easier way that I had just learned. In following months, I didnt want to buy gold illegally because my factories were doing fine, I was earning an amount of money that I couldnt spend. Everything was perfect. But in time, ( I dont see a reason to criticise administration once again, because we all know, it became a reality of Erepublik >>>) THEY HAVE RUINED THE GAME, DAY BY DAY WITH THEIR RIDICULOUS CHANGES. I had bought gold for a few times more but then even factories were not enough for funding the end game stuff for me. They were implementing more gold demanding stuff in game and factories were not profitable anymore. ( Yes, you are paying hundreds of euros for them and they dont make profit. It is true. ) I am not even talking about raw companies. They are also pure loss.

As the time passed, the game administration wore off their mask and became more and more corrupted, I decided to buy gold illegally. Yes, I admit it. In order to sustain the maximum str gain, I needed to find gold in a cheaper way. It has been almost 6 months that I have been buying 10 gold each day for the price of 1 gold = 0,07 euro. The transaction way was simple. A guy (The gold seller) was creating fake accounts with different ip s and the customers ( that is us) were putting a monetary offer which is 1 cc = 1 gold. The gold seller was buying our 10 CC FOR 10 GOLD each day with these fake accounts and you pay him for example 30 euros in advance. Each selection day ( 5th, 15th and 25th) and after, there were no gold transactions for precaution because we used to think that GMs check for the security more often in these days. I have bought a lot of gold with this way. I mean A LOT 🙂.

Unfortunately, this gold seller is a gold supplier for many İNCİ and Turkish players. I am not insulting anyone. I am a Turkish player, too. Last week, I got a temporary ban for this illegal gold buying but since I was a silver customer, it was only a temporary ban, not permanent one. After that, I decided to quit this game because there is no meaning form e to buy gold once again from illegal way and I wont be able to train 3 str building without buying gold from Erepublik. So, why should I play this game if I cant advance as the other people do ? Then, I have reported all the people that I know or I am suspicious of cheating. Some got ban, some didn’t. I dont care.

Another funny experience of me about this game is; half a year ago, I sent a ticket about name change and asked them if it is possible to change my name or not. After asking my real name, they simply rejected it and told me it is possible if only if it is my real name. 2 months later, I sent another ticket and told them it is my real name and asked for a name change. Guess what ? They’ve changed my name, LOL. Erepublik rules… ( in both meaning 😁

Anyway, what was i talking about ? Oh, these are the realities of the game for the ones who didnt know. Some people earns golds for playing other games, some people earns gold for exchanging other game currencies, some people buys gold in illegal ways. Everyone knows it. There is no reason to hide it. This game is dying, sorry, it is being MURDERED. I dont want to go deeper because even like this, this article will be deleted in few hours.
