Hi Kids!
Let me assure you that everything is OK. Please take a moment to understand what is going on. We are working towards peace with Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and the UK.
Canada needs to stand down, refrain from fighting. Take a look at the situation we have had thrust upon us by game mechanics.
Even though SW of England borders Wales you cannot attack Wales from there. This is why Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) is coming through NFLD to go into Ireland. (China is OK with this BTW.)
This is the most expedient way to close this screwed up situation. We have been talking outside the normal role play and understand that everyone is hurt by this situation.

To close this off as quickly as possible I attempted to propose peace to Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) this morning. I'll let my ticket to admins explain.

I have just proposed peace WITH CANADA FROM CANADA! My intent was to propose peace with Macedonia. I do not have screen shot of the propose peace page, although in the future I believe I will document any such actions. My list of choices was located under the Macedonian flag as if I were their CP. Nowhere on the list were Macedonia or the UK which are the only current wars open for Canada.
This needs addressed immediately. Either manually go into the code and change this to Macedonian peace proposal or delete the current proposal and allow me to start one with the correct parameters. If not to smooth my very ruffled feathers, you have over 200 active players in Canada.

Congress needs to continue voting "YES" on the chance that admin merely fixes the wording of the proposal.
What To Do
> Do not fight for Canada.
> Allow Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to come through NFLD.
> Allow RW of UK regions.
Unless Macedonia makes a left turn into Canada this will all be over soon.

This is how a peace proposal works. The wording is correct, you are asking Macedonians if the want peace from of Canada and are demanding 0 gold from them. It must pass our Congress and then it gets sent to their Congress.
That is not how the peace proposal was presented to me. It asked me who I wished to propose peace to. I figured that this is some language thing with Romanian phrasing. I ended up proposing peace to Canada from Canada. Macedonia was not on the list so I could not propose peace to them even though we are at war.
Oh, in that case you did screw up. But the wording of the proposal always appears like that.
Why not just have their CP propose peace?
Hmm, I wonder if you couldn't propose peace with FYROM because it's been less than a week since their airstrike, and we still have a border. What with the whole, you have to wait a week thing on peace treaties.
Never did have a NE with them nor they with us. The AS was the attack. So peace proposal does not have to wait.

I don't, we are exiting the UK and Macedonia is moving on into Ireland. Game mechanics are screwed up and they are taking a detour through NFLD.

This is unclear. Sometimes Chinese play it close to the vest. I would assume there are easier ways to leave. RW'ing the regions yourself springs to mind.

I don't know what "E" super power you are a citizen of, but here in eCanada we sometimes need to us diplomacy over our military might when we can. Big stick diplomacy requires a big stick.
We are not the only country in this alliance that needs aid and we have already used more then our fair share.

It's kay, China was aware of FYROM before we were, so it's no surprise or worry to them.

I looked at that map several times yesterday and because you can actually see a physical border between South West England and Wales I did not pick up there was not a game border. Never trust your eyes on that F*cked up map.
Yesterday, looking at the information on the map, sw england did have a border with wales. Suddenly when this glitch is reported the border disappeared.
That actually makes more sense then me missing it. I never trust what I see on that map.
As far as I'm aware it's never had a border. We used to wtf? at it all the time too.
I think an American state has the same problem too
We have North West territories and British Columbia. Half inch border can be seen on map. No border in reality. Thanks for clearing that up.
