The new political module change is presenting us with an exciting opportunity to turn the page on governance in Canada. Parties, mostly vehicles for personalities without much in the way of reason or ideology, have a chance to compete as entities. I am now no longer competing as Jacobi the Congressional candidate; I am competing as the number 2 on the CPF Team.



When I fully realized the implications of what that meant my reaction was amazement. Finally an improvement to the game that will actually improve the game!

I’m no longer responsible to just me, I’m actually responsible to my party, to my party leader, and to my colleagues in Congress. If I want to keep my number 2 spot in the party I am going to have support the party, grow the party, and promote the party…hell that’s part of the reason I felt I should write this article today. But now take that times 10, or in our case times 15 or times 20, and you suddenly have a team committed to growth…the party’s growth and Canada’s growth.

I don’t want to deceive you; the CPF wants to be the number one party in terms of active committed membership, and in terms of active committed Congress members. We have a desire to push an agenda, the Seven Tenets, and a desire to govern responsibly and set Congress back on the right track. We see now, more than any other recent time, Canadians wanting a mature party committed to rational and deliberate leadership. 35% in August said yes to a CPF Congress and 45% to a CPF Presidency – these are numbers we want to grow.

Here’s the most awesome part of the new system, as far as I’m concerned.

ElPatoDiablo, Jacobi, Armour144, Christian Doe, Randall Flagg, George Beeman, Auk Rest, klop123, Gooffree, what I could say is an excellent team going into this election to represent you are practically guaranteed seats on the 26th.

But I don’t want to stop there, and neither should you. Because if you keep going and you keep voting CPF you get people like JoeyJoJo Shabbadoo, you get powerhouses like Exalted Druid, you get leaders like Chochi. You can’t just stop at 9, you gotta have them all!

And if you want Plugson, and don’t kid yourself…you want Plugson, you’ve got to give us a majority. I know! I know! It’s a tease, but it’s like a Grand Prize that we in the CPF are giving to you if you give us the High Score of a majority. Plugson wanted a month off to be with with these humans he calls his “family” but if you give us a solid majority in Congress he will in fact be obligated to be here just for you.

Voting for the CPF this election is something new, it’s something fun, and this time it’s a commitment from me to you, that as a member of the CPF team, the more people you give me, the more people you give me to work with, the better we ALL can make Congress. September 25, its time to vote for a Team that will put Canada first, a Team of mature and responsible leaders that will fix Congress, and a Team that will build a better Canada.

4. To respect, recognize and uphold the supremacy of the mechanics of the game
5. Develop a positive political sphere

7. To encourage growth and stability to the eCanadian economy.
