I guess not.
Dsalageanu has some valid points. Especially when he talks about the fun and entertainment part. What he doesn't take into account is that .. this cold war might be part of fun for some.

A while ago people were exploring.. the game was rather unknown, especially the mechanics, innovation is what made people have courage, and confidence. You could always gain the upper hand in a conflict by doing something smart and genuine.

Unfortunately let's face it, the war module doesn't offer nothing new to work with. Everyone knows the tricks and the secrets in order to conduct high level military operations. Now, only raw power and volume counts. And i said this along time before, and it happened, the war module froze, as defenders have a huge advantage in front of attackers if all other variables are constant.

And here comes the real problem.

It's not about being a pussy or chicken.. the problem is that if you act, if you are the first to expose your weakness, you give an advantage to your opposition, which he can manage now or in the future.

For example Romania attacks Hungary, fails of course.. taking into account the mpps, and Hungary doesn't attack back. 4 months pass and a new war module is inserted, with new rules, new features, fun and so on, a module where attacking can be better managed, now with the new rules, the existing mpps can mean alot... this is why i understand the concern of all leadership involved here.


On the other side, what can happen? One of the countries will be wiped? Hell.. if i learnt anything from my experience is that, white is black and black is white, and both black and white are gray in this game. Total wipe-out is loads of, is a great push for the future, and a high chance of baby-boom.

Also, when i ran for presidency, i did it because i thought Romania was in deep shit, 3 enemies could have attacked us, and counting the MPPs some of them had, we talked about fighting the entire PEACE on 3 fronts, while our allies back then were seriously damaged (USA had 75% territory occupied, Spain 50%, Canada 50%). 3 in 5 articles were about how to conduct guerrilla fighting when Bucharest will be under Hungarian flag.

We avoided that, we put the romanian economy back on track, generated a +3000 gold bank balance and killed the threat of invasion wile gaining a friend Ukraine. People were active, people were fighting, got involved in freeing USA and Canada.. all good. But why? Are we any better now? Maybe i was wrong.. maybe doing good is actually bad, and the other way around.


And now, for the ironical part: Anyway.. it's gonna be good. Because this is not real. The only problem is the fun we'll have now, will spoil the fun others will have in the future? By risking the fate of Romania in the future do we damage future's generation entertainment. I'd rather say NO, because yu can't lose, and with conflict you can;t get bored, therefore -> WIN.


I say push the button, not for the LOLz (God dammit Justinous) but for the smart reasons.

Also, take notice i did not say what button...
