The first Presidential Campaign accouncement has been made by Woxan.

Woxan is not new to the Executive Branch on Erepublik, he has served on three different Cabinets: Harrison Richardson's, Emerick's, and Gaius Julius'. He has also sat on his party's High Council.

Cerb has been chosen to be his running mate. Cerb sits on the Executive Board of the USWP and it the USWP's Chief of Staff. Woxan claims he is trustworthy and a good friend.

Now, their platform:

Foreign Policy: "It is time we become the nation of liberators with the intention of freeing oppressed countries if they seek our aid. We will match PEACE's malevolent imperialism with the inherent freedom that every sovereign nation deserves." - Woxan

When it comes to foreign policy you can see that Woxan is not a supporter of piece and wishes to be a country of liberators. On Alliances, Woxan supports (and thanks) our great allies who have given so much to us. He went on to say in his announcement that "PEACE has built their empire on greed and intimidation; we will build our alliance on cooperation and friendship."

Lastly, Woxan supports joining EDEN.

Military: "Our military is incredibly powerful, efficient, and dedicated." -Woxan

Woxan's current stance on the military is to take the war to PEACE now that we have repelled them from our nation. Switching from the defensive to the offensive.

Education: Woxan believes strongly in educating the citizens of the United States. Part of this, he says, means reinstating the Department of Education with adequate personnel support, resources, and media coverage.

Economy: Woxan explains that the economy is one of his strong points in this game and states that we have one of the best economies in the game.

"They [PEACE] demonstrated the power of economic warfare when used against a country's economy correctly. Under my administration, we will employ means to counteract these attacks on us or our allies and use them to hinder our enemies." -Woxan

Woxan is a strong believer in a free trade economy and believes that it is the free trade that has lead to such low prices on manufactured goods and "savvy" business owners.

Infrastructure: Woxan says that our national infrastructure being wiped out is a blessing in disguise because it allows us to strategically place new Hospitals and Defense Systems.

The Catalyst's Opinion

To be honest, I had not heard too much about Woxan before reading his newspaper article announcing his campaign. Although as I read on, I became more and more intrigued about his strong beliefs and independent ideas.

I am not about to give an official endorsement to anyone but I do believe that Woxan/Cerb would be a nice breath of fresh air in the eWhite House.
