The AFA: A Spy's Tale

I'm not even sure where to start but this needs to be written, so I guess I will just start at the beginning.

My name is HarleyQuinn. I started playing eRep in October of 2010.

When I first started I joined UIP with my mom and was there for a few months before it collapsed. My mom went back to the Feds and I quit playing right after that because I didn't really want to start over in a new Party, and life suddenly got busy.

Flash forward to 3 months ago.


My mom was talking to me about eRep and how Ajay had taken over a Party, was now in the Top 5 and had been for months. I remembered Ajay from back when I played before and was surprised he had actually succeeded in getting a top 5 party.

I thought it would be fun to log in and see if I could infiltrate his party. Mom didn't like the idea much because she was worried about Ajay and the possibility of him trying to stalk me like he did Bia.

Being as stubborn as I am I didn't listen and joined the AFA anyway. It was actually very easy to get him to trust me enough to not boot me out of his IRC Channel. I had a very convincing story about how MelissaRose had become PP of UIP (she was actually only VPP), left and went back to the Feds after destroying the UIP.

It was rather funny, he thought he'd found some kindred spirit in his hatred of the Feds.

For the first month he really didn't trust me enough to talk much about his plans. I spent that time watching Game of Thrones and reading up on the history of Ajay to try to see if I could find a way to get him to trust me. I eked information here and there by staying logged in all night and logging the chat. I started sending every piece of information I could glean to Josh Frost, at first it was very little and most likely didn't help much.

So Josh Frost and I staged a verbal battle in the amp channel and I pasted the log of it onto the AFA forums. That worked enough that he started loosening up a bit and talked more openly in the AFA irc chat. He went on rants about the Feds and the other parties, how they were all elitists and would never actually be able to keep him down. His rants jumped topic a lot into RL politics. So I started expressing my political views (to match his of course). The more I showed how close my views were to his the more open he became.

Ajay trusted me by this point but the others didn't, so I decided to write an article about the CP elections. Ajay loved it and that, along with my trolling of anti AFA people, solidified me in that party. I worried about the trolling because I knew that I may never be able to fully get the stink of this party off of me and that I may never be fully trusted again. But it was working, I was getting more and more information (plus it was actually kind of fun playing the idiot child troll).

At this point I started feeding Josh Frost and others more and more information. Everything I could get. I was finally able to help remove the “fog of war”, Sometimes it was only little things other times it was important conversation that helped frost know where to hit and why. I was very happy to be able to give him information that would actually help with the organization of the ATO.

About a month ago a friend of my moms had an idea. I was going to try to be the backup PP for when the country ATO'd the AFA. My thought was that if the AFA got back into the top 5 I could put other people from the top 5 into congress instead of the Serbs, successfully killing the AFA for that month. This would hurt him greatly and with no Serb support possibly kill the Party altogether.

I wanted that epic moment where I could laugh in his face. I thought that might be the only way I would ever get people to trust me again.

This month I actually got Ajay to agree to let me take over a small Party in case they needed backup. Ajay always has more than one so he can pick and choose which Party to swap to. He didn't choose mine, but honestly I don't think that matters because I doubt he has the ability to get back to the top 5 this time. He's lost a lot with each successive ATO.

This month he was especially depressed. He said that you were all too organized to beat anymore. He believes Josh Frost has successfully beaten him, even though he will never admit that publicly and will probably say I am lying. He's also lost the support of the Serbs, and most have actually left the country (from what I was told)

I was ready to continue on with this whole project even though it probably wasn't even necessary anymore, mostly because I was enjoying the verbal sparring with Josh Frost and others in #voting and in articles, but this month something changed. I got to see a side of Ajay that completely startled me and scared me a little. My mom went on eNPR on election night and I watched over her shoulder as Ajay sent some disgustingly horrid messages.

Frankly that freaked me out and I told my mom that I was done. She was relieved.

So now we are here at the end of my spying, with no glorious defining moment to help fix my in game rep. But that really doesn't matter at this point because I am done. After what he said to my mom, and reading the story of Bia, I realized just who I was dealing with. He is insane, I had realized that much being in his chat but I never fully understood just how insane he is. I just can't be in that chat with him anymore.
