Thanks Australia: Cabinet, let's get to WORK

Day 625, 03:02 Published in Australia Australia by Ranger Bob

Dear Australia

Thank you for electing me as your Prime Minister this term. I will work hard to make sure your faith in me is not misplaced.

To start, I would like to request all cabinet members make themselves available on one day this weekend (Sat/Sun) between 2-4pm AEST - or in eRep terms, Days 626 or 627 between 21:00 - 23:00. This will be to get the ball rolling on your portfolio's. Prior to this, I suggest you contact your predecessor for any handovers needed.

I will be also launching some of the Centrepieces of my election committment to you this weekend eAustralia. As I have said, I want there to be debate about the broader alliance issue - with a view to a referendum on the matter mid to late this month.

I also am going to commence discussions with our eIndonesian neighbours regarding the issue of Western Australia, and will report back to you by the end of next week on how we go with these.

I expect to be very busy this term, and have high expectations of all Cabinet in being professional and transparent. I have asked the Ministers of Information to prepare weekly reports that provide you with a summary and analysis of what is happening in Government, and this will be far more than just a "he said, she said" approach. If you have any questions you require myself or a member of Cabinet to respond to or address, please direct your queries to Timeoin and Garven Dreis.

Let's get to work people!

Ranger
