Thank you so much!

Day 554, 14:26 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan

One thing I have learned this week, eJapan really knows how to shock a girl.

Congress
One thing that saddened me, no LPJ Candidates. They have left the top 5 because of the Orange Party which is good for myself, but it was still a little sad not seeing Seixo running against me. Last term when I ran, Seixo had the second spot under myself. I enjoyed racing against such an experienced individual, someone who deserves to be in Congress. Other then this, I am glad of how things have turned out.

There are many new faces entering Congress this term. Some of which I rooted for, others which I had not known of. Those that made it into congress, congratulations! Those that did not, always try again. If you really want something commit to it, work actively and hard, and try again next term.

I am sure many of you know, I received 53 votes this Congress Election. This was a number I was far from expecting. Thank you everybody who voted for me!

I am glad to have so much support in eJapan. Actually calculating it correctly, I have 19%(18.66) of eJapans total votes. That number is something you would expect from a president or a party to have 19% of congress. Amazing, really. I am usually a writer who can write continuously for no real reason, but you have left me speechless.

In my last presentation to eJapan, I had asked to be judged for what I have done during my first term in Congress. With all this support, I believe I have been doing good, and I will continue to work hard for eJapan unconditionally. I will continue to be a Workaholic Oraizan, and do the best I can to: speak for those unspoken, support those in need, and keep my ethics grounded. Lets all do our best in making a more fun, stable eJapan!

There are some foreign candidates that have made it into our Congress. So far there are a few who are staying and would love to help eJapan. Please welcome these members with an open heart. They may be foreign, but they have stayed here and intend to work towards the same goal as us. Currently there is only around 3 approx. 'Gold-stealer's'. If it continues at such a low percentage, well done eJapan!

Any position marked in brackets or under none can be replaced! If you were thinking of working for one country that is already taken, I would be fine with adding an Assistant Ambassador to that country, just let me know!

Currently the list is coming along well! Many of the Ambassadors have even started posting. I have recently put together a list of what I think would be good guidelines for Ambassadors to follow when they first take up the position.

For starters they will be in charge of reading the media, and checking law proposals. This will never change, and will be a duty expected of Ambassadors. It is expected of you because we need to know what is happening, and if eJapan will be in any trouble.

Secondary would be checking the forum regularily. It is not needed but it would be a great step towards eJapan being informed about all countries. I understand some are more busy then others, that is why this is not expected.

An option would also be to update on elections. It would be nice to have a record of who is in power. More importantly, which party in the country has the most Congress, and what it stands for. I have recently asked the Party President of FRONT in Sweden to give me a breif summary, as their wiki page had no information.

Once appointed the guidelines would be: Contact President, set-up an Embassy on their forum, begin duties.

When contacting the President I made the suggestion of it having the following:
- Introduce yourself
- Promote good relations despite world affairs
- Ask for the link to their Seperate forums where you may set-up an Embassy
- Give them our information

When setting up an Embassy:
- Introduce yourself
- Promote good relations 🙂
- Tell them about our current president / government (Ie, Kokawa Libertarian, who our Foreign Affairs officer is, etc.)
- Give them a link to your profile and the presidents/ other government official's spoken of
- Let them know they are able to contact yourself or any of the names stated in the Embassy.

What to look for in articles:

- Most importantly eJapan. If our name is anywhere, we should know about it.
- Any proposals / mock up of happenings in their country.
- Official newspaper articles from the government are usually a good start
- Anything funny. I personally love reading a funny article, especially propaganda.
- If it is in another language, please translate it! An Auto translator will work if you are not fluent.

Most importantly in the new world, keep an eye on the Wars. There are so many going on through many different countries. For example. it would be nice to know who exactly supports eGermany's independence, and who is not but is quiet about it.

Any other duties have not been brought up, but always feel free to go the extra mile!

I hope this is informing!

Thank you again, eJapan. It is really an honor to be supported by the majority!
