I don't really play this game anymore, I'm just following everything, and I noticed a very interesting fact.
As everyone knows Finland left EDEN in Day 1729. A country which has been with EDEN almost for 3 years and was one of the founders. Finnish players have lead the alliance many, many years. HQs have been almost always full of Finnish players, who saved the alliance when it was falling. Country which has always helped EDEN's members for almost 3 years, even though our country isn't the biggest one. But still Finland, Romania and Croatia are almost the same as what EDEN is. Those countries have lead EDEN and decided what has been done.
Then Finland left. What did EDEN do? It didn't react for a week, and then it publishes an article, where was whole 4 lines text about Finland! We love how much you respect us! We know it was just 3 years which is a "short" time in Erepublik, so who cares if countries leave and join alliances. We hope we can see you again after another 3 years!

True story. Kinda weird how PR team will write entire article about new member nation when such will join the brotherhood but when one of the founding members leaves the alliance they barely mention it : P
And EDEN say that ONE hasn't got respect for members...

I actually think you have a very valid point. I don't think Finland was as important as you made it seem, but still a significant part of the alliance. It would be against EDEN's interest to advertise Finland's departure, but I think some gesture publicly would have been nice. They've showed us support through military and economic means though. Finland was never the most visible influencer, but still important. Maybe the same applies here, the other way around.

For the last four months or so the Finnish army has fought for Finland almost daily. Don't talk out of your arse. There are valid points to be made, but blatant lies won't work in anyone's favour.

@Elvroy, i was speaking mostly the 3-year period of eden membership, not the latest days. And those years were not favorable to eFinland. If you didn't see it, your blind.. There just wasn't any help.
I remember asking about eFinlands prio2 once in eden channel, and the answer was "there was no other battle". Those are our help times...
Elvroy, I suppose that law proposal was rejected because Latvia and Sweden have many MPPs incommon. I hope we can come up with better solution.
But I'm too a bit disappointed since I too got that feeling that Eden was like "Ok, do whatever you like, we don't care". It's like we just left and our dear brothers and sisters didn't even say good bye..
What else you was expected? EDEN brotherhood was gone long time ago. All what is left is EDEN HQ.

It isn't just eden, but the whole game. No one cares about anything anymore. There are no consequences in winning or losing battles.
What kind of reaction did you expect? You decided to go your own way and that was respected. You can't expect us to be joyful about it or angry, can you? It was a sad moment for EDEN but it was your decision and Finland was honest about it, as always, unlike Bulgaria who plotted with ONE for months and then left.
So any kind of pressure or accusations would cause a counter effect and bitter feelings about your departure from EDEN.
This way we are still friends, only not in same alliance.

Those who lived brotherhood of EDEN with Finland will remember what Finland did for EDEN and what Finland was in EDEN.
I'm sad that you chose different path and I hope it won't bring you on the opposite side.
But no matter what happens, friendship and the memories will remain and Finland will always have a special place in my heart.

Romper, Even though Eden did respect our decision and it's not that ppl should have shown up anger or joy. It's that Hawley needed to write this article so you ppl could come and tell those things you and radens told. Why couldn't Eden write an article where to tell all those things instead of "Hey did you hear that door closing? Where's Finland? Oh well..."

Actually, the plan was to press Latvia to vote down their NE-proposal against Belarus, but they didin't panic thus that plan failed. It was known (at least by Finnish and Swedish governments) that the vote wouldn't pass. Or so I've heard, it's not like state has informed anyone about it. 😐
I don't really understand why you think those four lines aren't enough. They've worded it briefly and respectfully. There's no need for anything more.
I do enjoy all these pathetic LEP guys still being all pissed about this.
EDEN must be disappointed of this decision, that shouldn't come as any sort of surprise. Do you expect some sort of an obituary? Those four lines were enough to get the point across.
In a way I agree.. but the article Finland published wasn't that much better.
An entire article dedicated to Finland would've seemed like ass kissing in my eyes. I think some things are better left unsaid.
@Petsku You are right that Finland wasn't so much better and this article isn't good for Finland, but you know me I don't care about Finland in this game anymore. 😉 (sry other finnish, if you didn't know that yet)
And if someone really don't know. EDEN was very good alliance for Finland and exsample Finland-Estonia battles was many times just useless, but those battles was epic, because allies! Finland get help almost everytime when we really need it. This still game so have to go forward!
