Tanzania - The Land of Natural Awe

First, I want to thank you, who tried to guess or gave me something in comments. Tried hard this time to create even more interesting post and quiz to inspire you to find and learn.

Second, very, very sad... My article failed to achieve 25 unique comments. And nobody used "+b" bonus code to get some free food, so everybody will get bonus. And this time - there wasn't much correct answers too. Think, I need to find some other way to let you solve this mistery.

1. Yes, title says enough for first hint - we are traveling south. Start point - answer is in my previous article.

3. Never new, that our detionation has 8 neighbours.

It borders Kenya and Uganda to the north; Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west; and Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south.

There are currently 55(75) countries with full UN recognition that have left-hand traffic and Tanzania is one of them



5. They have tropical climate, but it is not constant everywhere. Topography doing own way. And at this point - they have flooding during the rainy season and drought.

Tropical weather prevails over most of Tanzania. The coastal area is hot and humid. In the northern circuit cool weather prevails from May to September. The hottest months for the whole country are from October to February. The long rains are from March to May, and the short rains from October to November. Coastal areas and the islands have tropical climate, whereas the central plateau is semi-arid and the highlands are semi-temperature.




5. I love nature. They love too. More than 1/3 land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation.

Approximately 38% of Tanzania's land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation. Tanzania has 16 national parks, plus a variety of game and forest reserves, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In western Tanzania, Gombe Stream National Park is the site of Jane Goodall's ongoing study of chimpanzee behaviour, which started in 1960.



6. Our destination has different types of terrain - mountains (real mountains, there is some mountains over 4000m and even more!!), flat lands and plants near ocean.

The highest free standing mountain in the world, Mt. Kilimanjaro (4,877 metres (16,001 ft)), is located in Tanzania. It is also the highest mountain in Africa. (5,895 m (19,341 ft)).



7. They have special tree. It is one of the most expensive hardwood tree in the world.

Mpingo trees (a.k.a. Africa blackwood trees, commonly seen in Tanzania) are the most expensive hardwood tree in the world.



8. Animals - they have lots of wild animals, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, lions, zebras and some rare animals - white rhinos and black rhinos.

With more than 4 million wild animals in its periphery, Tanzania has the largest concentration of animals per square kilometer, in the world.

9. Travveling around X country, it is possible to see they agricultural lands - coffee, maize, tea, tobacco and cotton plantations.

The Tanzanian economy is heavily based on agriculture, which accounts for 24.5% of gross domestic product, provides 85% of exports, and accounts for half of the employed workforce



10. Some of they island and main land tourism attractions are terrestrial wildlife, dhow cruising, coastal tourism and spice tours.
