Beards of Glory

Switzerland, for a long time we have been an oppressed people. Our homeland has been denied from us for many eYears. We have been freed, and our land liberated from the Hungarians. Finally, a voice of hope can be heard by the Swiss people. Their hopes have been answered and the motherland returned. With our recent liberation, we now have the opportunity for war and conquest. The time has come my Swiss comrades, to conquer all of the Italian peninsula!

For a long time, we Swiss have had to tolerate being held back from our true potential, first by the Theocrats, and then by the Hungarians. Now that we are freed, my comrades, it is the time for war! Not even a war, comrades! This is a holy mission! By the grace of the gods we have been given the right to conquer all of Italy. The Italian people call out to us. They ask for us. For our guidance, and for our strength. My brothers, it would be a sin not to accept these Italian people into our Swiss society.

All that is stopping us from ruling over Italy is the cowardice of man. But comrades, is War not the normal state of the people? What is to stop us on our conquest of Italy. Surely it is not the Hungarians, as they have no means of attacking us. Surely our EDEN comrades would not object to an assault on a PEACE nation. What is it then that is stopping us from our Italian Reconquista? It is the weakness of man that prevents war from continuing. Weaker men before your time have corrupted the minds of the people into having faith in peace. Comrades, there is no such thing. Better to live a day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep. So I tell you Swiss comrades, attack! Let our battle cries be heard by the Italians, let us march from Romandie to Sicily, and let them run as they confront the awe and power that is the Swiss military. Italy will burn, and standing on top of the ashes will be the victors, the Swiss. Our reign will extend across all of Italy and we will go down as great men.

Let us now mobilize comrades, for their is a long war ahead of us, a struggle for power in the Italian peninsula. Out of the cloud of war and destruction will march the Swiss army, victorious in our endeavors.
