Submission Competition
Greetings readers,
The mission of Press Pass is to provide interesting, informative, and entertaining articles which stand above the average papers. Our subscribers should know that when they open each edition, it will not be a waste of their time. Many days the publications available read as mirrors of each other. I do not drink my morning coffee while reading the same article multiple times, nor do I expect my readers to.
Press Pass Competition:
Eligible participants:
In the eRepublik world, a citizen must attain level 8 before starting a newspaper. At that point the price is 2 gold for start-up fees. To be considered eligible for this contest must, you must not own a newspaper. If you are ineligible for this competition but would like to be published, please contact me to discuss your article and compensation.
Submission Guidelines:
Acceptable submissions will be written solely in English. Articles may be about any aspect of the eRepublik world, whether military, economic, political, or anything else you can think of. I will format tags if you are unfamiliar with formatting techniques, as well as spell/grammar check articles. Pictures should be relevant to the article, and the people in them should be dressed in proper attire. Articles should not contain offensive language, racial slurs, or other things that may be viewed as inappropriate.
Submission can sent via google docs or privately messaging me. The deadline for submissions is 12/23. The five best articles will be printed in Press Pass beginning 12/24.
Any articles approved for publication in Press Pass may not be published by any other media outlet before, or until the competition ends. Articles may be linked to from other sources.
Winner:
Winner will be determined by the article with the most votes. Voting will end two days after publication of the final article.
The Prize:
Winner will receive the 2 gold necessary to start up their own publication.
Striving to raise the bar for today's media, that's the goal.
