Status Update | Belgium
Citizens of Belgium,
<strong>We have successfully placed a Q5 Hospital in Brussels.
We have successfully established a solid value of BEF at 0.022 GOLD.
We have successfully given a boost to Belgium's economy.
We have signed 2 MPPs with Romania and USA for protection.
We have NOT been able to grant citizenship to all unverified requests.
We have NOT been able to allow Congress majority to other foreign entities.
We have NOT been able to provide a steady job offer for lower skills.</strong>
Things are about to change. In the light of New World's current development, we cannot afford to have a conflictual relation, at least from our point of view. We will do the best we can to ensure Belgium's functionality in every event that may or will follow.
The first step will be social. We will create a "Ministry of Labor and Social Protection" meant to assure a constant flow of jobs in the low sector of skills. I completely understand the fact that this measure may come a bit late for some, but its necessity is still indisputable in order to help the new players.
The second step is diplomatic. We maintain constant talks with ThomasRed, the President of Benelux, and Garmr, Benelux Ambassador to Romania, as well as with Mitch Rapp and Cocoamok, about the future relations between us. Given the current geopolitical situation, I invite you all to discuss a fresh perspective regarding Benelux and Belgium. I urge you to think twice before you draw your conclusions about who is an enemy and who is a friend.
That being said, it's time for us to go to work, together, not one against the other.

This could have been a first step after starting your colony. It are the UNL citizens and government that brought the job offers for Flanders and Brussels on the market.
You have been wasting your time and gold for a long time now. So stop with that and be reasonable. Most Belgian citizens are for unity. So try to see what can be done now.
The Group can better be late than never to stop Romania's imperialistic attitude.
