Even if it has long pass and nothing can be changed...

Here at the Golden Miner we are mostly looking at numbers. Golds and currencies. Even if we acknowledge the fact it has been done three months ago and it cannot be changed we would like to stand few things.

Nowadays, after few two-clicking days our director read some news. In those news the so called PTOers were accused for losing our treasury.

This is a big lie. Treasury was safe into BM hands therefore there was no need for wasting. The big waste was made by NLSP.

Stop spreading lies among citizens to make them fear each others. Those 4 last months were just the biggest joke ever. With the aim of making called PTOers moving, actions like ... PTOing parties were attempted. Wasting the treasury has been made. Firing at each called PTOer on articles; and so on...

That was just not the good way! Results are: no more treasury; no more activity; loss of citizens... So called PTOers are still here. MaryamQ and NLSP's governments nearly killed eBelgium. The Valeyard didn't end this "civil war" or do much good about this situation.

People at command don't see that fighting is the wrong way to handle such a situation!

We told MQ and NLSP that they were doing wrong. That fighting was not the way. Tell us, is it the way? Is losing citizens and treasure the way? Obviously not!

The way we advised - but was not taken - was: let them in peace and check on them. Numbers would be the same but they would be less "dynamic". And we still would have activity and treasury.

By fighting them, eBE governments justified their arguments: bad administration. Meaning that they can reach more citizens. Because it is true: bad management has been made.

Either you are a populist, power hungry, or naive. Regardless, this article is full of crap with no one shred of facts. It is indeed a pity in which you go on your petty personal vendetta against NLSP and MQ. To see you go out of your way to tarnish their reputation and name while you can consolidate your power base with the PTOers is lame. Their economic policies are sound in preventing it into PTOers hands. A good reason why they left is due to people like you who are inexperienced and is willing to sell the country out for personal profit. It is the ungrateful attitudes of people like you who demands a lot but do little. Who goes slander and shouts at people who gave so much of their time and RL moneys into this community. I use to have much respect for you but it is all gone due to your recent behavior.

I wouldn't call someone a populist with a choice of words that approach populism. You may be angry towards JdlF and his opinions, but fact is he has barely been active or done anything except talking or debating. Putting the blame of failure on him is, imho, a little bit too easy.

I'm also sceptic towards what just happens, especially the fact that they blame others for what happens now, that we "weren't united", that it's because of others they left, etc.

One thing in defense of NLSP though, the sudden price peak because of that Christmas infinity mode and eBelgium needing to give out additional supplies just at the same time, he couldn't have predicted that. So yes our reserves won't last as long as he said they would.

in addition to this, game mechanics made it more difficult to stay occupied, causing an increase in expenses and a decrease in income as well. In hindsight, it would have been better to have a reduced BEF spending in the give-aways and an increased gold spending. The main issue is that having a functional, good supplied national army is way more expensive than any income eBe could have for the moment and going back in history and change certain actions, will not provide any solution to this, just a delay of the moment where the reserves can't sustain the expenses anymore.

If most of you weren't so obnoxiously stubborn and ignorant about the facts; eBelgium would perhaps have had a chance to survive. I gave up on that hope far longer ago than either MaryamQ or NLSP. The one thing you can't blame them for is putting their energy in to try something to solve the problem. If it were just up to you the money would've been gone even before you came up with the Bank Manager idea.

That said, the state is not some form of piggy bank. It's a place that gathers income to redistribute preferably to (all) its citizens. How much that income should be, how it is redistributed and who receives it, those are the choices a politician can make. Only an idiot would claim that you need as much money as possible inside the state accounts and cut all the programs to pot up some more.

Your biggest problem is actually that you don't even play the game. You just sit and whine in articles or the forum about people who dare to take a risk and, unlike you, don't run from responsibility in actually making the experience of other users in the game more enjoyable.

I have always had the respect for people like MaryamQ and NLSP. They do not work for their profit, they invest time in new players, discussion and use all energy for eBelgium. I lost that commitment years ago and left. Big respect for those that didn't follow my path. You can alienate good people but it is very difficult to get some of them back.
