Congress and what we did

Day 460, 04:00 Published in Germany Indonesia by Slavko

Dear readers of Croatian Embassy Bulletin, dear Germans,

In front of you is the sixth issue of our magazine. In old issues you could read about politics in eCroatia, but you could also get some information about rl Croatia. This issue I'll use for more private purposes.

As some of you know I was elected to Congress on a last elections and I put my candidacy for the next. Being a congressman I got a better picture of what is going on in eGermany and that made me change the parties. I'm now the member of Buergerliches Deutschland, managed by MortenLond. Link to the party platform you can find in a comment.

I would also like to present you what we did in Congress that last month. Due to inactivity of players in eGermany, all 33 candidates that placed their candidacy got a seat. Some of them did it only for 5 gold that a congressman gets. Here is what the others did. In the second assembly since German independence we made 19 law proposals of which 16 passed. The activity of congressman can be seen in our forum (link bellow in comment) where we discuss all the proposals before we propose them (st the moment there are some slight problems with the forum, but we expect them to be solved quickly). In a last month we voted on five MPP's, which ran out, and due to constant threat from Sweden we passed them all: Iran, Turkey, Portugal, Hungary and Brazil. We also did some changes regarding taxes: grain, iron, food, gift, weapon and moving tickets. One construction was bought – hospital, new citizen message was written and we conciliate to transfer 15.339 DEM from country account to Bundesbank as a matter of protection in case of Swedish invasion. Not to forget we voted yes on a trading embargo with Sweden.

In average 26 congressmen voted each law (in range from 22 to 29). The easiest was buying the hospital where 29 congressmen voted yes, and the law that had the tightest voting was tax change by food. This law passed with 13 to 11. The most proposal were made by the president (4), also four came from presidents of our allies and 10 from us, congressmen.

I hope this article persuaded you to give me a vote of confidence, and a vote for Congress.
Thank you,

Slavko, member of Congress
