Show some love for Sluagh

The reason I play this game is the people in it. Some I like, some I do not, Some entertain me, some annoy me. I have met some interesting people from all around the world in this game over the last 6 years. Unfortunately a lot of the interesting people do not play anymore. I have played with Sluagh for 5 years now and he is one of the good lads I like and respect. He is going through a rough time in RL and wanted to say a few nice words about him to try and bring up his spirits and let him know he is appreciated. I hope that some others in our community would do the same in the comments, we have lost too many good people, I hope he is not another one.
Over the last 5 years the lad has kind of grown up playing this game. He started a bit shy, then hung around with some wild ones, now he is an elderly statesman and leader.
Several years ago the Irish bank was stolen by Marcus of millions. He was friends with Sluagh and told him what he did and gave him some money along with others. Sluagh provided screenshots of what Marcus did and returned the money he got right away. I did not know him well before that, but from that point on he always had my respect. Most of his wild friends stopped playing and others in our community some how thought of sluagh guilty by association. I saw him work hard to try to earn the community trust despite getting a lot of abuse for no reason. Watching him go through this earned even more respect from me. He has always been an honest and hard working member of our community who has a bit of fun playing the game. People like him are the reason I play and are the glue that hold our community together.
Please Show him some love in the comments and tell him how much we appreciate him.
So as Dictator of Ireland I proclaim November 12th to be Sluagh day.

I like Sluagh and respect him a lot. Actually, he is the reason I moved to Ireland! I was ready to move from USA and had not decided where to live until I read an article by Sluagh. He convinced me that Ireland is the best place to live. Thank you Sluagh! We appreciate you very much!
although my dexter article where i had slaugh on the table was for me very funny. I suggest pets if you dont have any. They are literally the best comedians and friends

Totally untrue, screen shots came from another of the culprits,Slaugh aka Conway returned 100k his cut for information on how to hide/move the cash in the accounts (although Marcus credited him with getting 200k), the bulk of the cash was never recovered and is still missing to this day.
He was guilty!!!, he participated in a theft of irish community property, has he repaid that debt to society?, its for each person to judge him themselves based on his behaviour since then, but remember the old saying a leopard never changes its spots and likewise once a thief always a thief.
I don't know you personally but this article says he has a hard time in real life and you just judge him for ingame actions and charge him as a thief? I don't know the story but your post is ridiculous..

I have paid back everything I received plus much more. I have given more to this country over the past 2 years than maybe all but 2 citizens. I have not stolen anything since this incident which was over what 3 or 4 years?
Hardly still a thief. Or do you want me to be one, if I can never redeem myself why should I bother being of any use to this society.

I think ppl discount player age too much. Lots of players start erep while still in secondaries. Moo is right about ppl "growing up here".
If Sluagh was my kid I'd be proud of how he has played this game.
Just correcting inaccuracies in Moo's post, as i said in my post "has he repaid that debt to society?, its for each person to judge him themselves based on his behaviour since then", I have not judged you or said anything against you in this article, yet you ask "do we want you to be a thief?", hardly a sign of maturity threatening to steal yet again, reputations take years to build/mend and only seconds to destroy.
Whatever is going on with you in RL i hope turns out as well as it can and you get peace in your life.
I wasn't threatening. I said the same thing ages ago as well and have yet stole nothing. I'm above that.

Sluagh is one of the best friends Ive met in eIreland. He earned both my respect and trust.
I may not know him well but I wish him the best in real life. I don't know what trouble is he in but 1 thing life will teach you is that nothing really matters , except from being OK with the ones you love. Everything else is just shit.

It is better to have more players playing the game. There is no doubt Sluagh has been active in the game for a long time. He has been influential in many players e-existence. I hope he keeps playing and wish him the best with his troubles in RL.
