Serafini for Luzon!
Hi there Luzon! I am Lorenzo Serafini, the official U.S.W.P endorsed candidate for your state!
What does that mean? Well, as many of you know, congress always ends up with more than a fair share of elected members who do nothing at all, or even worse, conduct there duties with absolutely no skill nor knowledge of the issues. The U.S.W.P, under the leadership of Jude Connors, has graciously given the USWP nomination to me to run for congress in the great state of Luzon.
Entrusting me with your vote assures you that your voice will be represented, backed up with over a year of game experience, in which I have been in congress (N.C June 09), been in the eUS military (101st/5th Platoon Airborne, WW3), run companies, and the X/O of the USWP Training Division.
About Me
I have been active in my party ever since hitting level 7. My first task was as a Communications Rep with the Business Affairs Dept, under long-standing and respected AidienAstrup. I am now currently the X/O of the USWP Training Division.
I slowly gained experience in the USWP to build up my knowledge of the game and then finally ran for congress in June 09, in which I was successful. WW3 broke out and the USWP decided to PTO France. We weren’t successful, yet we blocked PEACE attempts to PTO congressional seats in Canada. I joined the Airborne and stayed in the branch until RL forced me to resign as I could no longer meet the activity requirements. I've re-taken up my first love (politics), but may very well rejoin and serve in our fine military forces once again.
Policy Stance
Foreign Affairs- I agree with our President, Pig In Zen's latest statement on our nation's Foreign Affair's Agenda. The Foreign Affair's Article
State Of EDEN- I feel that the need to stay in EDEN is paramount. It is the only way to provide the firepower critical to counter-balance a United Phoenix. Gaius Julius's Article raises serious question's that opponents to EDEN need to ask themselves and answer. The EDEN Article,
Tax- Simple. The Government needs funds to propel the nation forward. 20%, 22%, it's a matter of CENTS. The collective accumulation accrued by these percentage points over 1000's of players if far more valuable than a few active member's savings. (Savings...for more COMPANIES?)
I personally advocate war. It’s the answer. We need to take advantage of our Iron region, and spur citizen consumption. We don’t need Q2 hospitals, we need fun, and a common goal to keep young and old emericans coming back day after day. Forward into Lion King!
Personal Attributes to be a Senator!
1. Desire.
All candidates have desire, but for what reasons? I want to bring a game-mechanics based approach to congress, because frankly, it avoids so many facepalming proposals. Having the experience of what is a 'good' and new proposal, and what is 'omg noob' and over-done in congress speeds up the whole process. I'll leave the doubling of the new citizen's fee to another candidate
I'll also be throwing my hat in any and every opportunity to help administrate government programs, and will do my very best to achieve any tasks I'm given the honor to participate in.
2. Experience.
I've run companies, administrated in the Flying Unicorns (Tix to evacuate trapped eAmericans), joined the Airborne (Fighting PEACE instead of other Congressmen), been around over a year, and know the game mechanics and been through the political process. I've been a Senator before, and can bring all this to the table.
You won't see me debating a new minimum wage, but rather how to get our economy back on track.
3. Activity.
Being active has its advantages. Participating and making intelligent and useful posts during congressional votes and proposals will streamline, and make sure we are making the right decisions. I've got the time and prior experience that allows me to recognize how congress will impact on rl. I have the time to read the debates, follow the discussion, raise my concerns, and then vote. I also know sometimes you don't get your way, so you have to be resilient!
4. Communication.
A key factor to bringing representation to the people, in this game, is listening to those we represent. I encourage any eAmerican to sent me PMs. I will post my voting record, when appropriate, every week, as well as why I did vote on a proposal a certain way.
Getting involved and raising questions is the only way you'll understand how our government operates!

Participated in USWP. Freedom Squad (PTO attempt on France)
Airborne Soldier. (101st/5th Platoon, During WW3 after Freedom Squad)

Currently the Executive Officer of Alpha Company in the USWP Training Division.

I've done a whole lot of party related stuff (Help party noobs, recruitment ect) Which shows I have a passion for politics. I want to bring my passion onto the National Stage.
I've read a whole lot over the this past year and encourage everyone to do the same. The way things have changed, especially our thinking on Taxes and Hospitals has been interesting, although some things have come full circle eh? (Tariffs and Hospitals...LOL)
6. Summary. (For those tl;dr types out there
I've got enthusiasm and a solid experience in every facet of this game. I've been in congress, run companies, participate in running gov. programs, helped USWP members, and want to be in congress, to bring quality representation that all eAmericans deserve.
If I lose, I'll still be lending a hand to running the programs that benefit every eAmerican.
Hell, give me a shout if you want a loan, need some help on something you don't know much about, want stuff from the government or need directions. I'm here to help!
