Hello UIP and anyone else reading!

Election time is upon us again. Monday, September 5th we are charged with selecting a President to represent the eUSA. This is an important part of the game, even if you are not into politics. The POTUS helps guide Congress, starts proposals in game for them to vote on such as Natural Enemies and Mutual Protection Pacts. He/she also is a major part of our foreign affairs and relationship with allies. If you're just a 2 clicker, military commune worker or perhaps a mega-corporate businessman, who ever is elected POTUS will affect you in some way. I would like to encourage you to check out who's who and vote your pick on Monday.




The UIP September POTUS Endorsement


The UIP is proud to give the nod to Paul Proteus this go around. Paul is a wonderful guy and is sure to be a great POTUS. All UIP Membership is encouraged to give him your vote and support.

The two runner ups, that received votes in the poll, are also strong contenders. Two more received no votes and one is considered a PTO attempt. (Guess who I am speaking of, Pizza!)

I am happy to say that "None of the above" received no votes this month. 😛

A Word From Your PP

We have not done a lot this month. This is by design. We have lost several valuable players from our ranks over the last few months. Internal divisions, frustration, boredom, all have played a role. My goal, as stated when I was elected as PP, was to relax and have fun. Kijiman and Forever Myst are working on the "fun" right now. We have some exciting new players and I can't wait until we can get back to being the UIP that everyone knows, without the BS.

No recruiting, recruiting is part of this plan. I want to let the UIP become as large as it can without gimmicks. Could I offer to pay people 5 gold to join our party? Yes. Could I offer free weapons and food? Yes. But in the end, what does that accomplish? We are financially poorer and bribed a few jokers into joining our party until they got the free goodies. I want our membership to grow as our community and friendships grow.

I also want this party to be relevant again. We might not be top 5, but we should act like it. This is not a lulz party. As long as I have any say in UIP affairs, we will act responsible and 'play by the rules' regarding inter-party relationships and responsibilities, as well as national commitments such as Congress and the office of President.

UPDATE😨 Now as to 'why' Lysander was endorsed for like 10 seconds... I'm a moron. There is no other way to explain it. I was looking for Paul, my mouse pointer was on Lysander and CLICK. I had a naughty word or two slip through my mind and then I changed the endo to Paul. Nothing earth shattering or an evil conspiracy at all, just a senior moment. Sorry!"
