Selling out to our enemies!

Rylde announced in his newest article that he was currently engaged in negotiations with the eUS to give up our sovereign territories of Quebec and British Columbia for terms that were being negotiated. This is either the act of a defeatist President giving in to our enemies or clear change in Canadian Foreign Policy, either of which are clear signs that our President is out of touch with the vast majority of Canadians.

Our President has stated he was approached by the US about a deal to trade our territories for payment by the US, but let's not forget the US entered this conflict needlessly and betrayed our nation for their own gain. By giving the US control of territories we're giving them exactly what they have wanted from the beginning, our resources.

An equitable arrangement is built upon friendship and respect, two things this deal lacks. If the US (an enemy) had approached us about renting territories outside of an invasion we would have laughed in their faces. So why are we considering selling our territories to the enemy after they invaded us? Under no circumstances should we be giving up while we have our enemy on the ropes.

War

I realize this war has been costly, but the Canadian people have shown their resolve in the face of adversity and I believe they will continue to do so for as long as is necessary to show our enemies we can not be pushed around. It is my belief that the Canadian people should not give into a bully and we should not sell out to our enemies.

It is my belief that the short-term losses we may experience financially can and will be offset by the growth and morale boost we have experienced and are likely to continue to experience as a result of this war. This war gives us a chance to to possibly create a baby boom and help with retention rates if we focus on off site recruitment. Those things will only happen if our President has the sense to tell the US where to stick their offer.
