Join the new world

I half arsed it last time I ran, and came close though.. which was awesome 🙂

But I was thinking of how our government works with either the small team doing everything, or with different teams for different tasks. and how easily it all can break or just parts of it break and it carries on undeterred and picks up the slack.

The main thing is information and communication.

Do we have a good forum? I'm tempted to make a temp forum, kinda but anyway,

I know a forum hosting place that has a fb or kinda ingame like feed, with open discussion, one simple security level from basic sign up, and basically everyone that signs up and is, well real people, is cabinet and they can voice their reason for bothering to sign up and say what they want to do and people give feed back and help if they can no matter why they signed up to help or tell people its stupid and why that is stupid without being a jerk about it.

That last part is the real down fall of forums.

The idea which got me was the feed, just like in game, for an open cabinet, allowing perfect information flow, with a forum on the side if anyone is nostalgic ...

We don't need a bunch of leaders telling people what to do, we need people to ask what they want to do, what aus should do, for people to be able to get support for ideas and lead without it having to be given to them for a certain task with a certain amount of people.
For information from in game reaching an enclosed yet open amongst itself Gov and be far more informed and faster and better for it.

I dunno spitballin a bit but yeah... thinking just in terms of being CP or MoD or MoF and having that information which is normally in game in a pm or something.. being in an open feed with comments just seems like it'd allow for no bottlenecks in information and be good...

Also forums have a bubble that bursts sometimes and they become crap, so i have no intention at this point of maintaining this long term, or for it being for the general 2 click public to lurk. I'd invite MU leaders and Party leaders probs

As for the relation of that back to in game public for being, you know useful, well that means newspaper articles basically.. and i'd be thinking from 1 org, everyone who has access are those who wish to post articles from under that 1 org for every 'section' of government. Basically means the MoI will be posting DoD articles when needed and be expected to. the roles box people in, everyone can make a DoD article and a call about orders (consider upgraded information flow) and if they screw it up, everyone can change it, update it etc...

I don't care if that screws up newpaper histories and being able to grab easy code for new articles,

It would make all information come from 1 source, just 1 sub.


So anyway... I rambled and said nothing about much, much about little, more or less just spouted ideas at random. I will have an actual article out soon being clear and what-not in terms of CPness.
Just stating my intention for CP is more serious this time o7
