In a recent discovery by Muhammed Durkahed, chief Linguist at the University of Islamabad the word 'one' has been seen to be identical to 'won'.|||Confusion, he states, dates back to a speech by Augustus Caesar. "It's much like the story of the Emperor without clothes," he says. "The Emperor is convinced he's wearing invisible clothing, but in fact he's naked, but since he's the emperor no-one dares correct him."

In a speech regarding a the Battle of Mutina. Augustus was out of the city, and dared not let anyone read one of his speeches. So he insisted on having copies of his speech written out and handed around the town. It is here where Durkahed sees the word 'won' and 'one' take on their own meanings.

Augustus' lingustic error was only pointed out in the margins of one of Da Vinci's notebooks. You may have heard of Da Vinci from the blockbuster movie staring Tom Hanks.

Durkahed seems certain of his discovery: "I can say without a doubt that 'one', and 'won' are the same word."
