First off, Chief Justice olivermellors is away this week on vacation and his absence has se7endipitously meant that I was chosen to take the role of acting Chief Justice for those seven days. To comply with these duties, I am presenting the results of a court case: Rex v. Rolo Tahmasee.

On March 18th, Day 1,214, with the result of 2 judges agreeing, 1 judge dissenting (we await his final response which may prove otherwise), and 1 judge abstaining (being a new father takes precedence, it seems), the Supreme Court of Canada sentences Rolo Tahmasee to the following:

“—Permanent ban from the eCanada Forums and eCanada IRC channel(s), subject to:
—the offender's right to apply for a modified sentence whose terms and conditions will be pre-determined by the Supreme Court. The offender will be offered 3 options that include a “repayment plan” and a limited term eCanada Forums & eCanada IRC ban. Failure to comply with a modified sentence will result in a permanent ban being reinstated.”

Several conditions for a reduced sentence are being finalized and will be made available to Rolo Tahmasee after he requests to hear their terms and conditions. The matter is now settled but we remain open to Rolo’s inquiries. I am not at leisure to describe the specifics, but I can assure you there is a serious Gold fine attached, along with a limited term ban.

…but what I can describe are some options for a reduced sentence that most likely won’t be deliberated upon in the Judge’s Chambers.

With Rolo earning the status of a permabanned citizen, he now qualifies for rehabilitation through Project eRasing, as part of Operation 12M:
“Method: Send perma-banned citizens back to V1, guaranteeing their pardon if they find the source of V2 contagion.”

This is an Admin initiated project, but the Supreme Court has reserved the right to add one condition to a successful rehabilitation.

Rolo must:
A ) Help prevent this mess Admins have been putting us through since V2, an incident that killed 100,000 citizens (250,000 down to 150,000) which we have only now recovered from this past month until the re-emergence of a V2.2 contagion in this week's updates.

B ) Prevent the mess Rolo has been putting us through since he stole the treasury in September, which has resulted in countless lost hours replying to forum threads and cross-contamination banning of other citizens. He could either convince his younger self not to associate with Project Mayhem or convince Congress not to impeach so readily.

No doubt succeeding at either of these objectives will result in the timeline being “corrected” so that Rolo will not only be pardoned of the crimes he is convicted of, but also never having reason to commit such acts in the first place (well, unless he tells his former self how to better orchestrate a second theft that would rival the original, but not like THAT would ever happen).

We wish Rolo well on his trip back to 07, 07, 2010 – Yes, July 7th at 07:00, the day this whole Post-V2 mess started. If you don’t succeed, I guess we’ll be seeing you right where we left ya today. Don't just do it for yourself; do it for all of us who miss those halcyon days of V1.
