Reunion, and the Revolution Forward

Hello, again, eRepublik, it is I: your President-in-Canada and vassal to the legendary Hero of the Empire Dennis McVicker. Yes, it is Bruce Lightninghands Kaminarinote, in the flesh! Well, e-flesh, but you get my drift. When last we met, eCanada was an Empire gunning for full Asteria status with a healthy community. We’d just driven off the PTOers and, for a little local flavour, I defected to Pacifica and then defected for no reason back again. Well, with my e-waifu WookyJack indisposed, that last part likely won’t happen this time…but let’s not rule it out! Anyway, as I do, from time to time, I take a peek in to see how things are going in my lovable dying browser game. After eight years – on and off – in this quasi-abusive relationship, you develop bonds with something/someone whether you like it or not. Such is the case with me and this game. I just can’t stay away, and you should be right thankful for that. I keenly remember eJapan, three months ago (has it really been so long?), dead in all aspects with a single region mercifully handed to them. And again, we were a great empire. Now these things are essentially reversed, and that’s just not sitting right with me.

So I’ve decided to come back. Agree with me or not, I was right about the UF AND I was the media leader for our glorious revolution against the dastardly eAmericans. For this I return to you, eCanada’s humble servant once more. Jokes aside, I am glad to see DMV and Dill still practically running affairs around here; and I look forward to working with them – and you – as we return to the glorious nation we ought to be. As an actual Canadian, I feel it my right – nay, my duty to represent my proud nation everywhere – including here, of all places. I offer my hand in an extension of friendship, willing to put all past quarrels aside, for the sake of one great cause…a united front, if you will. I’ll also have plans for the Imperial Wolves, and attempt to restore to eCanada’s third party stature and sober second thought in eCanada; which is why I will be attempting to regain my seat at the table in IW leadership. I see that Clan Wolf has repatriated to our shores, and will willing work alongside them, as well as the CPF of course. With my friend and ally DMV at its helm, I am sure we can make our enemies tremble as we rebuild the empire. We’ve been through worse before, why let this stop us?

Let’s bring the community back to life. The atmosphere is practically electric.
