Hello eSA,
I now have the final results from the global alliance poll. I was slightly surprised by the results of the poll, but I look forward to seeing what eSA thinks of them.
Without further hesitation, here are the results!

Other responses:ALT , EDEN or CoT , whichever one upholds the value that each member nation is worth the alliances full support in times of need.
EDEN seems to be the global alliance of chioce for eSA'ans. The big story here is that most people would like to join a global alliance. Staying neutral only gathered 8.3% of the vote, meaning 91.7% of the eSA'ans that voted think joining a global alliance is a good idea for eSA. If you ask me, that is a large majority.
This poses some interesting questions. If we do decide to join a global alliance, which should we join? and how should we choose who to join? EDEN clearly was the favorite here, but is it the most plausible? Would EDEN accept us as a member? These are important question eSA, we must figure out the answers as a nation and see which global alliance suits us best.

Last minute addition: It has come to my attention that I did not list ALT. I am sorry for this, I used the egov4you alliances and ALT is not listed there. If anyone would like to vote for ALT please do so in the comments of this article. If ALT gets enough votes in the comments I will recalculate the results and post an updated graph.

FYI, Alt is sister alliance of CTRL. New CTRL member are added to ALT and not CTRL

Government want to make us CTRL puppet.
People want to join EDEN.
Seem like something is wrong here.
Always state your total population who took part of your poll.
That helps with reliability issues.

Not an insult directed at anyone, just because an opinion is in the majority does not mean it is right.
The path we took was discussed by cabinet, who are the people who know more about this game than most. We weighed up the Pros and Cons before making the decision.
We had 24 people take part in the poll, I should have stated that in the article. I will go edit that in now.
@Luna Sorry, did not mean to stir up any trouble. I was only trying to see if citizens of eSA thought joining a global alliance was a good idea or a bad idea. 😛
No problem Wasteland, never apologise for asking a question. You have only SA's best interest at heart, those that ask questions, learn and progress.
So ask away, I'll answer and if I dont know the answer I'll find out or point you to someone who does have an answer for you.
Maybe we should do like what alot of Countries did during the Cold War and just for a group of non-aligned nations.
So I like the fact that we ask the question, however, the requirements of being in Eden made it not financially viable for eSa. So if those moaners wish to cough up the cash to pay for it they are welcome to.

I figured there was inner workings to each alliance that most people may not have known.
The people shouldn't afraid their governments, the governments should afraid their peoples !

Well, well, well, form own alliance. I would love to hear more ideas on who might join such an alliance, i never really considered it but that is very interesting,
I too favor Eden, but due to technicalities and the actual possibility that we can become Eden alliance is very slim. Not just the money, but the actual willingness to have us i think is very low.
I too think it would be interesting to see some idea tossed around for forming a new alliance,
