Resignation
Oraizan
Well the title is pretty much false. Read everything before you decide to criticize.
In a nutshell?
A group of us (Congress and non-congress) got together and decided to have a little joke. I must say, it has actually done good and bad.
The whole point was to appoint the person Hizumi hates the most as Empress/ Emperor. One, it is a good way to test Hizumi's intentions (which were proven harmful to Japan). As well as get a pretty good laugh in the progress. I have to admit, Hizumi acted worse then all of us thought.
Second, it was a good trial run. So far we have proven that Japan cannot have an Emperor/Empress without crumbling. While there are people who supported me, there are others who went "over-the-top" and hurt eJapan because of it.
Third. Well many of you know my goals (assuming you read my articles) and know that I have been personally trying to get the media and citizens more active. This has definitely achieved that. I have never seen eJapan so active all at one time. This proves that we need something to get eJapan going more actively, something that can keep the users as interested as a huge crisis.
Troubles
I understand why many of you have been upset over the situation, and I can say this because I have personally spoken with a few people privately about it.
I apologize if you felt out of the loop, and as if Akki was doing something without Approval. To be honest Akki was the most skeptical, and I believe only agreed because he did not see how a fake Empress could harm eJapan.
I ask if you decide to blame anybody to hold off on Akki. I have no problem taking 100% of the blame, since it was my face and I could have said no.
Sincerely I apologize for the confusion and the trouble/anger many of you against this issue have felt. I would never try to hurt eJapan and its citizens personally.
I do ask though that you respect this as a harmless joke-as it was.
Conclusion:
The best thing about this is that we have learned a lot about our fellow citizens. Because of this mess many people have exposed their true-self and feelings. Some disappointing some refreshing. I have personally realized who trusts me as a citizen and respects my opinion, and I am glad of this.
We were not expecting a resistance for the whole issue, and I would like to point out that the war is completely Angrr's doing, going against the vote of congress and eKorea government wishes.
Oraizan.
Comments
Kinda sad everyone had to flip out.
Weird as it is I kinda liked you as Empress, lol.
Does this mean I'm not going to be advisor of the flame?
I'm sure the rest of the country would say they hated me as Empress. Why would you like me as one?
It is sad, it was something fun for a change here on eRep.
People need to lighten up.
@Inferno, Yes sorry you are no longer Advisor of the flame.
If it hadn't already been out of hand by the time I got online, I would have written some ridiculous flame article to contribute... Would only make it worse, I'm sure. Probably for the better that I didn't.
Actually While I was at school teaching some Boogers their ABC'S is when it got out of hand. When I left for school it was pretty civil. I came home to a mess.
Well, being relatively new, I was rather confused about the nature of this "act", as it were. Still on the fence about the timeliness/appropriate-ness of this considering the somewhat delicate situation in eJapan, but I'm glad to see this cleared up.
well it got some laughs but i dont think it was the most effective way to keep people active and in the media but an effective means in another way none the less
All hail glorious leader! It was his doing that brought about downfall of Emperor of Japan.
It was an Empress, einstein.
@Mac- Not a lot of people new a lot of details of what was going on. That was pretty much the point.
@Anon- Actually it worked pretty well considering, MANY people were active. The only reason it would seem as bad is because a few people misunderstood what it was and ended up over-reacting. That can't be blamed on an idea.
@Tohru- Empress! So many people think im a boy from first glance lol. Whats with the glorious leader shtick lately?
Glorious Leader is a fake person, more like an IDEA, that the Goons have latched onto in order to spread their xenophobic hate into other countries. It's intended to be really annoying.
Too bad about the Empress thing. Angrr's RW really threw it for a loop and made it look like bad timing...
Agreed.
I thought it was hilarious and I hold no regrets for it. Chill out if you can't have fun... in a game...
I think that Akki must publicly apologize for this fiasco, not you.
It is Akki who is elected by majority of eJapanese not you.
It is Akki who should have stopped you.
Also it is Akki's fault for RW. Because he should have discussed the problem of eKorea more, in order to prevent Angrr start the RW.
It is Akki's fault the fact that he accepted your tragical idea to humiliate me, but in return you humiliated eJapan's government and the majority of eJapan that voted him. All this confusion is solely Akki's fault and it is really bad that no official statement by Akki has been issued.
I am sorry to say it, but you are not the one who may take the responsibility of this fiasco. You are a new user, it is the fault of the experienced user that let this bad happen.
Its my face not Akki's.
We were trying to proove a point, not humiliate you. It just happened to work out both ways.
Akki and congress were in the process of disscussing it, it was not his fault that it turned out this way. Angrr should have atleast notified somebody, but instead he decided to keep it secret and push it on us and divide our country.
Akki is busy right now, as he has been for awhile. I think RL > eRep.
We didnt particularily humiliate our government, actually a few other countries that dont really matter might think less of us. They dont matter because they do not live here. No, instead we have found out what some of our government offials are really like, and now we know who really did not care for Japan's process of doing things.
No, I would say we did some good for eJapan. As it stands I believe the drama for this was over very quickly once I posted this article. Now there are other problems.
And just because it was my face, does not make it my IDEA. When you dont know anything about the situation, dont make accusations like that. It was my face, and I will take the responsibility for it, but dont push other accusations on me that are not true.
HIZUMI did you read my beautiful Haiku in the forums? If not, here it is again:
HIZUMI, I say,
Why do you not go away?
You annoy us all.
Oraizan, I have not ask you to apologize. I think it is not your responsibility. I think it is Akki's responsibility and Akki must explain some things.
I will wait, until Akki returns to see how he will explain the whole situation.
I was not apologizing to you? I was apologizing to eJapan.
Was there any user who personally asked you to apologize?
Yes, a few users asked me to apologize in the media for them.
HIZUMI, apologize for your badmouthing of our government. 😑
Oraizan, OK then.
InfernoSD, I think I have not told anything bad for the government. What I said is true in order to improve the total imagine of eJapan.
If there are of my statement that you consider as badmouthinging, please mention that parts.
Try your newspaper. You've gone to tell other nations about problems you personally have with our government rather than to just talk to us about them... Ergh, this argument won't go anywhere. I just think the 'users who asked you to apologize' is crap.
InfernoSD, I am telling the problem I have with you to you, but the main reply is "You are not member of eJapan, you can not have opinion about eJapan".
After that kind of statement is it my problem if I just write about this in my newspaper?
By the way, I think Angrr was part of the government, right? I told the best for Angrr, because I think he acted well. If I was totally against eJapan, I would not have praised Angrr that much.
I want the government to act in a better way, so at least unexpected conditions do not occur. Surely Akki was supported by mjority, but Angrr also received many votes, and his opinion must be respected and supported. Many users left the country after this event, and many others are dissatisfied. I think it is for the good of government to receive criticism. I could have ask Akki and the other responsible for the fiasco to resign and try to get the power, but I do not do that, because I still believe that majority elect Akki and I respect this. However I want to ensure that Akki will continue to receive the respect of majority and thing run normally in eJapan. I do not have anything personal or trying to humiliate others, I just made criticism. Unfortunately, many users in eJapan find pleasure in humiliating me (fortunately not you) and I think this must stop, not because I really care, but it makes those eJapanese look very selfish and egoistic. They must now that a politician must respect criticism but also must be calm and polite all the time.
