Reply to the CP about South Africa

Hello all,
Yesterday afternoon as I logged on to do my usual eRep stuff, I saw Mick had written an article about South Africa and Mutual Protection Pacts.
(The article in question, I’m sure you’ve all read it). I also got a mass PM from Nicky about said article, and how he felt it was wrong.
So I’m new right, I don’t know much about anything yet, so I ask Nicky what’s up. He links me to the MPP page and explains the situation to me. Rereading Micks article, I also begin to see how it was wrong.
So Mick, I’m here right now to explain, as best I can, in layman terms what’s going on:
Ok, so eSouth Africa (ZA) and eArgentina (Arg) were talking and stuff about things, and Arg said they wanted some supplies that ZA had in one of their regions. ZA, being the lovely country they are, said “Sure I’ll let you occupy me baby 😉
but you’ll have to fight me first!”. And so Arg didn’t have to pay monies, ZA attacked first, which broke our MPP with them. Arg won that region ZA allowed them to have and they made sweet sweet babies or something to make up.
Which brings us to now: Arg is occupying that space, but they’re peaceful and had no fighting for a week I believe. Aus has no MPP with either country at this moment though, since Arg’s expired and ZA’s was lost when they initiated the fight with Arg, so says this rule.
So now we have to renew the MPP with those two, but Mick thinks they’re still fighting. Sorta like how eAus let Chile have a region, but then Arg started a RW, making Aus break the contract with Chile. So in this situation, we’re acting like Arg did back then.
So Mick, don’t start a RW for ZA, and don’t attack Arg. They’re just friends with benefits having a mutually good time. I think we should sign a MPP with both of them when the time is appropriate. But I dunno, don’t ask me, I’m just a noobie 😛

Mick, I am just curious, what did you think was going to happen with eIndo? Did you a) think we were going to hold on our own, or b) understand that ePoland were going to wipe them (as was their intention)? Timing has nothing to do with it.

That comment was made at roughly the same time Australia took Maluku and blocked Poland which was on day 2155...not once did you shout for us to fight against Australia taking that region seeing as CP you were wll aware of Polands intentions...who is to blame for that Gatto?
In fact there is a chance Flatty made the NE status of Poland public BEFORE the Maluku f*ck up and I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that the battle was already in full swing (which if memory serves it wasn't). Why didnt you try to get TWO and Australia to fight against ourselves as it was in our interests?

In the eUK we went down the path of less forums laws and it did let the country ease up on being so anal...classic example is that Mick can quote laws and regulations from the forums yet doesn't know simple game mechanics...which in itself is an amazing thing 😒
Sign with Arg and forget about South Africa. You have enough problems of your own and if the Arg-ZA conflict arises again the worst thing you could do is get into the middle of it.
I agree with everything in this article, except from my understanding (and correct me if I am wrong), we lost both eArg and ZA at the same time. If we only had an MPP with ZA, them attacking a country we have no MPP with would not cause us to lose that MPP.
That's right. So we lost the MPP with ZA because they attacked Arg, who we also had a MPP with. The MPP we had with Arg expired soon after. This is how I've come to understand it 🙂

Im split on the issue, but then again if we all wrote articles on what we think is the right path eAUS would not be split but a nation of individuals.
That being said, Nicky is a idiot for instigating situations with new people. 1st of all Nicky, "we" elected Mick to be CP, and failed to impeach him. Regardless how you feel about it, you have no say in the matter because what you are doing now is most likely considered treason. You are a senator, if you have something to say do it in the limits of your position, being a public figure you lost all rights to plan/instigate shit in private.
2nd Mick, you are the CP. There was no need for a outburst in this, make your decisions and if you need help making them write a article for a general consensus and let the people speak and bring us into unity, and show the rest of us how ALP (or whatever) are a bunch of secret agenda idiots.

we elected mick, on the basis he would be a fine and excellent CP, which our own decision making failed so we tried to do something about it.
The reason the Impeach failed is because some random senator decided to take matters into his own hands, confusing a large majority of senators and goes away and launches the impeach about 12-16 hours before the set time. many senators believed this was against regulations and voted no, which we ended up clarifying it wasn't, but it was to late. Icetek once again your information fails you, perhaps you should try and get into senate yourself for your party's interests.
also i hope you watched Mick little you tube clip, as now we know who the real racist Nazi is.
