Reconstruction! Terra v2 and America's Predicament

As you may have guessed, USA's uncertainty, along with the fundamental problem with the American-based HQ, caused a group of members to try to reform and rebuild Terra, with Rylde heading the charge. We searched for our Terran friends and asked their opinions, and they confirmed the desire to rebuild the alliance. We also figured that searching for new friends would be a nice idea, and we found some interesting proposals.
Some of the nations that were interested were Portugal and Australia, though some other nations such as Hungary, Belarus, Mexico, Columbia, and Venezuela had some talks about the matter. I personally was interested in giving some support to our Russian allies by helping them better communicate with their allies in the region, as well as giving non-Balkan EDEN nations a chance to better express their needs. That's why some of the countries I had pondered were Belarus and Finland. We spent countless hours PMing other nations' MoFAs and CPs and figuring out their stances, and we eventually decided to hold a meeting for all interested parties, to decide how we would structure Terra v2 after America left.
Or at least, that was the plan until USA basically gave up on the new alliance. So now, America has been ostracized by Spoland and looks like a foolish traitor for trying to ditch us. Hell, it's a great time to attack America! But of course, the Yanks are a strong nation, regardless of where their loyalties lie. It's not in our best interest to simply throw away America and pretend as if the new countries could fill America's big shoes. While we could certainly justify an attack on our southern neighbors, it would be a wiser option to try to mend the bridges.
So what could this mean for Terra? One thing for sure is that we're restructuring the HQ, which has been god-awful as of late. I'm pretty certain that barring another collapse, America will return to Terra, preferably under glove's noble rule, and we'll return to being the fringe alliance preparing for a super comeback! We're going to continue exploring possibilities for expanding our influence (Rylde loves that Portugal) and improving our position and might. And of course, we're going to keep hating the UK!

Yeah man, Hungary's ambassador talked to me in length about the idea, though we knew it'd be tough because of their current affiliation.
Seeing Hungary was definitely surprising, but maybe they're tired of always being a bridesmaid in ONE?
So if you get Mexico into the alliance and then welcome back USA, there'd be a bit of work sorting out claims on production bonuses and territory, since the USA currently occupies 6or7 Mexican regions. I suppose that's not part of the plan now anyway, yet it was an interesting option to see up there.
It will be interesting to see how this new alliance unfolds.
Remember, not all the nations listed here were very interested. Some nations explored the idea, but ultimately declined the offer. But we're working.
Did you hear about the leaked ONE files? Seems Poland was just trying to destroy TEDEN by creating a phony alliance. It worked, too.
Yeah I heard. It was a clever move, I'll give Poland that, but now it ruins any credibility that Poland had with non-ONE members, so it has no one to turn to if it's ever forced out of ONE. Could work out if America is kicked out of Terra, but knowing Rylde, I think America will stay.

Still, ever since the Spain treaty, the U.S.'s credibility has gone down to Turkey. Terra has gone downthe tubes as a result. (of course, the Romanian PTO of Brazil didn't help.) I think a good idea would be to get Brazil, Portugal& the others on it list to join CoT. Bulgaria just hates the countries that strongly support Turkey. I am sure they would like to have some more firepower to help them and Chile. Would shake up alliance structure and push CoT to be more neutral rather than Pro-ONE.
But many players still consider Bulgaria to be a ONE-oriented nation, and CoT to be a mini-ONE, similar to EDEN's GEA. If Turkey was such a hassle, it'd be better to kick them out of EDEN rather than have such a problem.
it is, but adding former Terra nations would make it less ONE centric, and more of a neutral, or third party alliance.
