Real Land

Day 1,792, 15:38 Published in Brazil Brazil by Dio Vigon

Hi guys,

I'm off the main decisions of my country nowadays, coz I think we have pretty capable citizens to do so, but I just wanna see some balance between what my friend aVie wrote and what we think is the reality of all debates we all had in the last six months.

It's no secret Brozil has a brotherhood with Argentina and Croatia. There's no secret about the friendship all CTRL members hold and we always knew it.

There's a important phrase in the CTRL document:

As a side benefit of ensuring the prosperity of all CTRL members, the alliance also seeks to reduce the game’s current focus on Balkan-centric conflicts.

The truth is that all members were bored about the endless war happening in the Balkans. We know they hate each other on RL, to me, as a brazilian, is something I never had in my RL (a real conflict with other country or family members suffering during the conflicts) and that's the reason I respect their actions. However, as a brazilian I wanna play eRepublik like one: knowing that eRepublik is only a game.

Will Romania and Hungary ever be allies?
Will Serbia and Croatia ever be allies?
Will Macedonia and Greece ever be allies?
Will Turkey and Bulgaria ever be allies?

I don't think so. And if they do, wont last long. That's the reason I dislike choosing a side over there. It's not my fight. It's not a reason I agree.

When we first met to create CTRL, our first goal was to change the focus from there. Make a worldwide game, not a balkanic game. eRepublik sells itself like a NEW WOLRD. If they don't wanna live in a new world, I do.

Brozil, Poland, Spain and USA are countries who exist, are big enough to conquer stuff in this game and don't belong to the balkanic region. That's the reason we become close to each other, that's the reason we focus on a new alliance.

Do Brozil hate balkanic countries? Not at all. It wasn't a emotional decision, it was a game decision, was we trying to change things a bit and have some fun with it.

Does Brozil wants CTRL = TEDEN + Spoland?
No. Brozil wants CTRL, period. And I think I speak for USA as well. We don't settle our decisions on prejudice, specially in a game.

I know my polish friend asked for the US logic here, but I think is the same logic I can show:

We want CTRL. We want what we wrote and what we signed in the first document of this alliance: a new perspective for this game, not a partial and convenient one.

There's China, Argentina, Russia, South Africa and many other countries that doesn't belong to the balkans. I don't think is too hard to understand that holding balkanic MPPs, at this moment, sends one hard message: we don't want to change the game.

I hope this is logic enough.

Vigon
