Real Facts about our economy

Day 791, 06:40 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by JNArno

Hi everyone.

On this edition of The Leman Oberver, I'm just going to comment the Shaolins last propaganda about our economy.

Some of you might have read the "article" (if you want to call it that way) made by the Shaolins about why low taxes are so good for our society. This thing is full of lies and mistakes and I'm going to take them one after an other.

1) "High" Taxes ≠ low prices

I have to agree with the Shaolins on one point: with taxes being low, in theory you can buy more and you win also more money. That is a fact and I can't deny it. But let's take a deeper look about our "high" taxes. I would first say that our proposition is not that high: 20% would have been high but come on, 7%? You really think it is that high? And you really think you win a lot more and that you pay a lot less? If you accumulate those little economies you'll make you would be able to buy a free good once every 19 days (19x6=98% of a weapon). Wouah! This is a lot more!

But you have to remember something in this game as IRL: you are not alone! There is you, and there is the governement. IRL, the governement needs taxes to make the country work, in a way it is the same here, althought IRL taxes are way more important. The Shaolins took the exemple of the sheep to show us that high taxes were bad. I'm going to take the same exemple to show you my point.

The sheep is now not a company but the governement, the size of the wool represents the taxes:

Without the taxes, the governement has nothing left. You'll see in a minute why this is bad. So now, imagine that with your high salary and your cheap market, you can buy more weapons (once every 19 days I repeat). The question is: where would you use them? You need a war for that but... Hey! without money, the governement won't be able to pay any MPP! So you're stuck with your weapons because it is by buying something and working that you give some of your money to the governement.

What? The monetary market? First: guess what, we already sell CHF for Gold in the monetary market, and I can assure you that we don't win a lot by doing this. But imagine we could sell enough to pay our MPPs. Slowly but surely, we will ran out of money, and it's not the 1% taxes who will save us. And by the way, what do you think would happen if someone the governement had no money in reserve: they can't control the Monetary Market, so everyone with a lot of CHF would have the power to control it himself. Our money, your money would not serve the interest of this country but only the ones from those controlling the market: private groups like the Shaolins for exemple.

In conclusion, we see that high taxes are not that bad for you because they help the governement who then is able to help you.

2) Low taxes = Low prices

At one moment in their "article", I could not stop laughing: "After changing this tax, prices for weapons dropped by 4-5% and became one of the cheapest prices in the world". That is one really big lie. You can see here that one month ago, our weapons were already almost the cheapest in the world. This was when our taxes were 7% VAT / 25% Import / 7% Income, now it is 1/10/7. So the Shaolins are saying that today, our weapons are among the cheapest in the world... Hum... Why do you lie to the people? look on ereptools, it's more expansive than one month ago! You can do the same with every goods in eSwitzerlan😛 the price went all up during the last month.

In conclusion, facts are facts: no price has been lowered because of the taxes.

3) Higher salary = low prices

This one is actually really funny also: "Due to increased competition, further reducing the cost of goods. Due to competition in the job market becoming more and more attractive offers to workers. Large collection of taxes to the treasury." So let's take a deep breath and think about this one. Do something for me: go on egobba's calculator, take whatever company you want and try to rise salaries and lower prices. It won't work... First, a General Manager is here to make profits, he won't have a lower income just for fun. Second, think a little bit: more money on the costs needs more money on the income!

And they speak about a large collection of taxes... uh... if you lower the price, you collect less taxes, no? So by making the prices go down, you're making the governement win less money. There would be a raise of governemental income because of the higher salaries but if we take the two together, there won't be a lot of difference.

In conclusion, if you pay your employees more, you'll have to make the citizens pay more.

4) Final conclusion

So, we saw that high taxes weren't that bad, we saw that the Shaolins lied to you about the prices been lowered and last we saw that they can't even count... They say that we will win 140G in a month... I just want to make you remember one thing: we need at least two MPP for the moment: one with the US or Poland to protect us, one with Greece to train. So we need at least 200G... this is not enough. Their system is not working, and will probably work less when the french and germans will go home... Imagine how much we would have won with 7% taxes... not 140G but a lot more!

There is a lot more people in Switzerland now, so there is more income for the governement, but please, do not be blin😛 we have a lot of babies who came, but the majority of the new ones here are just french and german, who'll go away when their country will be freed. The Shaolins wants France and Germany to be freed, don't get me wrong but with those taxes, it would be hard for us... At that time, the governement will win less money and there is a chance that we might not be able to sign any MPP... Remember what happened last time? almost 1/3 of our population went away... Do you want this to happen? If not, vote for the SLP and the SDP on the next elections.
