Hmmm

I've been offline a fair bit thanks to RL Aussies, and their (lack of) recent choice relating to the Federal Election. My current RL job is for the government in the area of pharmaceutical benefits, and with but a few exceptions, my workload has not slowed down much due to the need for continual briefings on a certain number of _particular_ electorates in our RL nation, in fact quite the opposite.

I do apologise to citizens in the game for this reason.

OK that said, I would like to comment on the articles recently, both from Bass and from Crowded (or Goose as I now call him in my head! - don't worry, an affectionate term CH, I _loved_ Top Gun when I was growing up). DAMN I AM OLD.

I think they both have made most excellent points. In particular:

1> I agree with Bass and others. EDEN, we need to know you still love us. You need to be a more active helper in fighting for us - we would fight for you, and indeed, many of our citizens (current and ex) do. Let us somewhat cut the crap - WA was a win of opportunity, and while we appreciate the help, you can't expect that on the basis you paid for a meal at a fine restaurant, we will be prepared to give you a blow-job for free every night for the next 10 years. Deal with it - it is the nature of a relationship.

2> I agree with Crowded (Goose) and others. You really think PHEONIX will do a better deal, or ever trust us for changing sides? We had our crossroad Aus. It was crossed, and while EDEN is apparently expecting they can treat us as a poor relation, I assure you, PHEONIX will be like the abusive husband you never knew you had. Deal with it, hell hath no fury than an alliance scorned (or, something like that).

If there is an option C, find it. But, I doubt A _or_ B will help us out much at the moment.

That's my two cents on the matter.
