Protrip - BS Training Vendetta Missions
kwest78
Hello fellow eRep gamers.
So we have some wonderful new missions to allow Plato to steal more real life money from our wallets. The pleasant little Training Vendetta mission graphic appears to show three paths to take to reach the end. With some detective work you can find some articles showing what will be required in each mission to get to the end goal.
You may think "hmmmm, I'll never get a Division 4 Battle Hero medal" or "Guerrilla fights? Eff that!"
So what's the easiest path to take to finish this mission? Well, energy restore is pretty simple. All it takes is a typical day of energy restores plus 30 or so candy bars to fill up the daily requirement of 5,000 energy. I can do that!!!
So I proceed to blow through energy bars like an obese grade school kid that found ten dollars next to a candy shop. "Yay, I finally got the third one out of the way. Hopefully I can use some of my kills toward the 300 in a day requirement and eliminate this Kesler douche!"
Surprise! You have to finish all three paths before getting to the final mission. How about designing a graphic that shows this or better yet, EXPLAIN it to us!
Yeah, I want my energy bars back a$$holes.
Edit: In trying to post the link to this article I got an "exploit detected, link removed message". So, I "tinyurl" it and go to repost only to get the "you must wait ten minutes to post again" message. Between this crap and the server being down for a good chunk of the day, I've just about had it. Winning friends all over the place aren't you admin?
Edit 2: Needs more funny:
Peace out.

Voted.
Strength and Honour
the rewards dont seem to justify what youve got to use to win them
Ugh. Thanks for the headsup!
You'll never see those energy bars back. I'm still fighting with the Admins over one of the last missions where you'd get 9k more storage if you used 4,000 energy in one day. I'd used nearly all of my energy bars during the war with Spain and was just able to save enough over the week of the mission to be able to make it while not having to buy anything. Or I would have if I hadn't been a few minutes logging in in the morning.
Bottom line, I woke up early to get my last fights and energy restores in and was 10 energy short. Fine, whatever, I'll buy a health pack. 10 restored! Mission not completed. You see only energy bars were counting towards the total. So I ended up having to buy one for 5 gold.
I contacted the Admins. They said, "Shit, you're right, that was a bug. Your health pack should have counted." I say, "Ok, give me my 5 gold back then." They say, "No, we gave you the energy bar for 5 gold." I said I didn't want the energy bar or even the free one they gave me; I want my 5 gold. This has been going on for over a month now. They know what the right thing is, how to make amends for their mistake which cost me gold, and they won't do it.
Admins seem to have the attitude that I see in every single Eastern European person I meet at the office. "I am king sh1t, you are nothing. Oh, and pay me more than I'm worth for half the work." Not being racist, just being real.
Lol. Yeah, sure, lumping tens of millions of people together isn't racist. I think you mean not trying to be racist. 😛
Seriously, not trying to judge, I know how easy it is to make these assumptions. The problem is that we all see different things. You seem to have a lot of jerks at your office so it's pretty easy to assume that that's the norm.
Personally, I haven't had any problems with Eastern Europeans at the office. So far they've all been quiet, hard workers. They don't stir things up and have been happy not to be paid particularly well. So my view on them (though they come from all over the place so it's hard to put a broad label on them) is that they are good workers. Though obviously they all aren't.
Well said Chochi.
I think it's fair to say that perceptions of politeness and what constitutes good manners differs greatly from country to country and what can be construed as ruddiness. I do perceive some European cultures as rude in Canada, but just the same if I went over to Saudi Arabia and interacted with people with my left hand or crossed my legs when I sat down showing the bottom of my feet in a Asian country they would consider me very rude and disrespectful.
"You have to finish all three paths before getting to the final mission."
Thank you for the heads up. I likewise was going to use 30 energy bars. As there is no way I can guarantee a BH my time with this campaign is done.
Spending money on this game is like:
1. Cheering for the Leafs, you'll be disappointed.
2. Trying to fix a Ford, something else will break next month
3. Using Microsoft Internet Explorer, self explanatory.
Every time new missions come out I think there might be something cool and a nice reward but nope, every time it's just some damn gimmick to get you to pay more gold. No way will I get a BH in the next couple days let alone win a guerilla fight lol
You have to win them? I thought you just had to fight in them. I couldn't care less if I won or lost (hint: I always lose).
Same with me, which is why I was actually guerilla fighting for the mission the other day. I believe the tier 3 of the guerilla fighting mission requires you to actually win a few
Well how strange, tells me ive completed 1 Guerilla fight and won and bought an item......must have happened while i was sleeping
Thanks for the heads up. Sorry you ate all your candy.
This game helps to put my work into perspective...no matter how much I fuck up with my software development, at least I'm not the erep dev team.
